Hotel Don Paquito - Torremolinos

Stayed 3 nights. Got a room overlooking a pool. Very nice small hotel like 2 min walk from a beach. Very nice friendly stuff. Good food. the only drawback - bathrooms are small and could be more comfortable. But still a very positive impression.

We stayed in Don Paquito in April 2011. Also been there year before, so we knew what to expect. Our general impression is "cozy". Rooms are not big, the same about the pool area, perhaps it is not a best choice for those who want to spend all the holidays in the hotel. Our main purpose was to drive around, so Don Paquito was perfect for us. Everything is clean and functions perfectly. Friendly staff. I suggest this hotel for couple and single travellers. Good value for money.

We only stayed 2nights at the Don Paquito and chose it for its closeness to Malaga Airport,we had an early morning flight home and just wanted a day's R&R after 6days in Seville and Cordoba. It is nice hotel, we had breakfast included in price, which had a good and varied choice of dishes. The pool area was pretty but small which was fine for us as we were out of season but I could see it getting very busy in the main summer season. It is quite a steep walk up to the main Torremolinos shopping strip and the station, so may not be suitable for someone with mobility problems looking for a very lively holiday, but the beach is 2minutes away from the hotel and there are lots of beach bars and restaurants in the area.
