Nice hotell in central Torremolinos Breakfeast buffe long queues and elevator problems.

We had a very fine stay at Cervantes. Only a few complains. The first is the fact that the use of internet is charged with a fee (7 euro for 45 min !!) - and not free as indicated at the website. The second is the time within the dinner is served. We had our one year old son with us and it is very late for him to eat at 7 pm. But the food was good and with good variarity. Be ware that the elevator to the beach is very convinient but cost 0,5 euro for one way ticket.

Wonderful place. Very spacious rooms with amazing wiew of Torremolinos. Try the roof swimming pool. Nice swimming pool. Great breakfast and dinner: high quality and good variety. Torremolinos isn't a great place but if you stay at Cervantes It will be worth it

The location of the hotel is eccelant. The hotel it self is very nice.very big rooms, undergroud parking and a beautiful loby. I recomend to ask for a room with a look towards the sea than you will have a very nice view.

Just back from a tour in Andalusia with one day stop at Torremolinos relaxing on the beach. Very modern hotel with big and clean rooms. But it's not located directly on the beach as it seems from the internet photos. By the way it's easy to reach it with an elevator (!). In May there are a lof of family with children (so you won't find a nightlife) and in summer a lot of youngs (not suggested for families).

The coffee at breakfast was pretty poor - vending type stuff.. Bring your own..

Good quality tourist hotel, clean, spacious rooms with very nice bathrooms and big balconys. Friendly service, in a charming spanish way.Very good breakfast. The location is perfect, if you prefeer the bustling center of Torremolinos to the beach area. While in Torremolinos do not miss the seafoodbar la Cha- Cha on carretera de Cadiz, must be one of Spains freshest seafood. Klas Ekström

breakfast was buffet style and awful, The rooms were very large and spacious. This hotel is in the center and close to all amenities. The staff were aloof and officious

The Cervantes is in a central position near beach and shops. The staff are friendly and efficient. Room was furbised well including the bathroom. Buffet breakfast good. Worn club chairs in the Salon de Fiestas spoiled the look of this key public area. Would have liked a mini bar in the room.

we did not have high expectations when we came because of some reviews we had read, but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were big, clean and quiet, the balcony large, the hotel very well situated and the staff was very helpful (they even offered to charge my mobile while we were sleeping, because I forgot my charger).

reception staff not particularly attentive or warm (especially the two older ladies) - one in particular was dismissive. this is not a language difference - i speak fluent spanish and a spanish friend who came to look for me was upset at the way he was dismissed also. i take at least 5 or 6 trips a year and have received far better treatment in less prestigious (lower starred)hotels. we should have been warned that major building works were going on on some of the floors AND most definitely that the airconditioning was not being switched on until the following week. the hotel is fine, though not partcularly luxurious for a 4 star. the ramge of facilities is indeed comprehensive, but it all has a rather tired/dated feel to it. the roof top pool and terrace however was excellent. the internet offer price was excellent but i would not have been happy to pay the full rate in high season.

For a three star hotel - the room i had was quite dank, dark, and small. The reception area was nice though and the staff was friendly. Maybe Sevilla hotel rooms are all like this but i thought my room was over-priced.

The hotel was easy to find both from the directions provided and the signage once we were in Torremolinos. Our check in was efficient though had we arrived an hour later we would have been at the back of a large queue. The rooms were well appointed with all the usual facilities and excellent views out over the sea and the town. The central location provided easy access to local shops and restaurants. My family and I would be happy to use the Hotel Cervantes again.

Unfortunatly, this hotel is not ranked within any of my fine hotel experiences. It is certainly not four star. Not in service nor in amenities. This hotel is of the older classification yet offers not charm nor elegance. The interiors are rundown and uncomfortable. Air conditioning is terrible, condition of towels is poor. Rooms are cramped and poorly decorated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only feature this hotel has to offer is it's location which is conveniently located in Torremolinos... Gay Nightlife is excellent.

On the internet the hotel displayed a P sign which to me indicated that there was a Car Park, this hotel does not have a car park. We were left to travel around to find a car parking place. No advice was given as to where we would find a space if there was not one available outside. Also at breakfast which we had to pay for was not included in the price we paid. We had to pick up a tray which had a cup and saucer, napkin, knife and spoon on. We then had to put the tray on your table with your breakfast on. We entered the restaurant my husband poured two orange juice, one of which was mainly water and placed them on our table. We then both went to get some breakfast (choice not very good). When we got back to our table even though my handbag and orange were there it had been cleared away. The waiter told us no tray no table. We were not the only ones this happened to, every one entering the restaurant did very similar to us. It would be helpful to have a sign or even be told at the restaurant entance. They were quick enough to tell us breakfast was not included and even had a list of rooms which breakfast was not included in the price.

there is no parking, during one week I had to spend a lot of time to park the car far away from hotel , one I got a fee! On this kind of level I expect to get this facility, (I wouldnt book this hotel if I would know that)

The hotel was very large but did not have any car parking (or so reception told us) despite the website saying it did. This meant we had to drive around to find a park and carry our luggage from about 15 minutes away. Staff in the hotel were generally not very helpful. Rooms are clean but basic and dismally lit. The bar in the hotel looks like it was built in the 1970s and has not been updated since then - drinks were also expensive. On the plus side it was easy to find, is well located and not bad to spend a couple of days in - but no longer.

Regarding my stay in the Cervantes Hotel I would like to make the following statement: This hotel does not fulfill the standard of a four star hotel. The rooms and especially the bath rooms have never been really renovated since its inauguration. The tubings in the shower are rusty, the towels are old and have wholes and the sink and toilets have seen better days as well. Furthermore, the carpets are disgusting and you can clearly see where the people are walking. Regarding the sport equipment, the fitness machines are not operational or show heavy sings of wearness. A major problem is the noise of other hotel guests (football fans) throughout the whole night without any reaction of the hotel directory board. Taking together, I can not recommend the Cervantes to my friends as I really have the feeling that they don't take care of quality as tourist are coming only for a short period of time. Before staying in the Cervantes, I was staying for one week in the four star hotel Granada Vinci in Granada which I liked very much. And I must admit that the difference is huge although both hotels have four stars.

Direct email with the hotel was able to secure us a spacious triple room with an extra bed (which was not able to be booked through the website) The hotel was a bit dated but provided very good value for money Parking near to the hotel is difficult
