Hotel Le Tre Vaselle - Torgiano

We stayed for one week and it was a most enjoyable stay. The staff are most welcoming, helpful and friendly and provide an excellent service. The room was spacious and the bathroom excellent. The restaurant is very good, with one or two small reservations. The menu is varied and imaginative, with regional dishes and produce. The wines are first class. The leisure facilities are impressive. However, some of the rooms are a very long walk from reception, along corridors that go downhill as you go down two floor levels. The noise in the early morning from lorries, street cleaners and cars is often very loud in the bedrooms at the back of the hotel. The overall impression is more of a 4 star or 4+ hotel than 5 star (some bedroom furniture not very elegant, old TV with poor reception).

Pleasant stay in a junior suite, price correct, but common areas appear dated and in need of a a restyling in my opinion. Under work indoor pool not mentioned on site and some coldness by staff reception. Real positive note staff breakfast/restaurant room.

Le Tre Vaselle is a well maintained hotel in a very small town outside Perugia. It is perfect if you have a car (they have a free parking lot) and want to use it as a base for taking day trips to the Umbrian countryside. There is not much going on in Torgiano itself and anyone without a car will find it difficult to get anywhere (the hotel offers two shuttles a day to Perugia but that is pretty limiting). If you look at the website, especially the views from the pool area, you would think you were in the middle of a bucolic, rural area, not in a town, which is a little deceptive. The hotel rooms were very clean and very large, but the appointments were a bit low end, certainly not "antiques" as quoted on the website. Even so, the room and bathroom were spacious and well maintained. The layout of the hotel was challenging - we had a room at the far end of the hotel, which required several hundred meters of walking (seriously) and several flights of stairs. (There are elevators as well.) Anyone with any physical limitations should make sure their rooms are closer to the reception area of the hotel. The pool area was lovely. The staff were pretty friendly and helpful.

My wife and I treated ourselves to one night at Le Tre Vaselle in October 2005 at what must be the best hotel/restaurant combination in Umbria. It certainly was for us. Our dinner was superlative, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, and our room was excellent. We have included Le Tre Vaselle on our short list of hotels that are worth a journey.

There was warm and heartful atomosphere at the reception and the ristorante in Le Tre Vaselle. Torgiano is very quiet town. If you'd like to enjoy the hotel-staying, you'll be able to be served warm welcome.

It was a cozy hotel in a nice small county town. The restaulant was remarkable for dinner. Good food, good wine, and great view. Perfect to enjoy Umbrian sunset in Summer.

The Tre Vaselle was wonderful; we had a beautiful 3 room suite with a terrace at a good price and the restaurant was fabulous! The location is excellent for touring Umbria. Truly a delightful experience- we will return!

A very nice place that is well located to visit the Perrugia area. The hotel is wonderful with a great panorama. I recommend it without restriction!
