Great hotel, great location, when we arrived the hotel was full and we received an upgrade to a better room! Free internet at the lobby, near all atractions.

This hotel had good beds, adequate AC, and our room was very clean. However, during our 3 night stay, every night was noisy, and it was hard to sleep. We could hear neighbors talking/TV through the walls, noises that sounded like someone dragging furniture across the floor, and an all night party with people coming and going from an adjacent room/doors slamming/loud laughter. In addition, the front desk staff was not especially friendly or helpful. We were given totally wrong information about bus service to the train station. We were okay with the location for sightseeing, but there was no breakfast included, nor good food close to the hotel. Negatives outweighed positives-we would definitely stay elsewhere in Toledo next time.

very nice building, situated on the edge of the old town, everything in walking distance, the Casa El Greco and Synagogue Transito are almost next door. Hotel very clean, rooms top standard. A wonderful find!

This hotel came in above expectations. The rooms were delightful, clean and spacious, and the management was very accomodating and friendly. The location is great for seeing all the sights in Toledo, you can walk to most. I would highly recommend it.

Charming, comfortable, and clean hotel in an excellent location for walking around Toledo. We would love to stay there again!

A smooth, professionally run hotel. Comfortable, well-sized room, though perhaps just a little bit "faux" compared to the common areas and exterior. The hotel is near a major road into town and also near a parking garage, but it was still satisfyingly quiet. A fine value.

After all this was one of the best hotels I ever had in price/quality. Very charming, great athmosphere and within the historical center of Toledo. It is a very old building but renovated with lots of nice details. Very quiet. Only two things I would change: 1. Internet is available by Telefonica-Hotspot only, I do not have an access so I could not use it. Free WLAN providing would be nice. 2. The windows could not be completely opened and there were no smoking areas within the building so we had to go outside for having a cigarette. Have fun when you stay there. Enjoy a great city in a very charming hotel!

Convenient location on the edge of the old town. Room fine but windows onto adjacent road meant waking with the first bus at around 7:00am. Breakfast OK though a sign to the breakfast room would have been handy.

The hotel is located in an old building whith an new adition. The zone is a wonderfol part of the historic city. It has a good position to access all interesting monuments or museums of the city and is in the middle of the comercial zone of the old town

I was astonished to notice that the breakfast was not included in the price I paid. Furthermore, I consider very bad the internet offer, as I was supposed to pay 6 euros per hour of connection! This is simply crazy, we are in 2008!

a friend and I stayed in Toledo two nights the hotel was fine the rooms were small but quiet expect hallway was under remodel so boards were down and floor and made suitcases very loud when passing.

Staff were very helpful, my stay was part of a round Spain motorcycle tour. They helped me book ahead. Their standards made me book all my hotels in your group. The only one miserable was Cordoba. I booked another night at El Greco later on it was so good. NEEDS PROPER COFFEE NOT INSTANT!

Excellent hotel located in the middle of the Jewish Quarter. Helpful, courteous staff. Everything within walking distance. Breakfast could be improved with eggs and bacon. Single point internet service needs to be upgraded.

Very easy to find by car.You can drive right up to the door.Or local bus to the door.Easy walk from Hotel to all areas of old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast room really small.Go to local cafe. Room 10,water pipes start singing at 6am!

An absolutely charming hotel. The location was superb. The balcony was a nice added touch. Having the air conditioning working would have been helpful, but otherwise a first rate choice of hotel. The staff were very obliging and helpful.

This hotel is well located in the Jewish quarter with clean spacious rooms. There is an underground parking garage if you have a car. Currently there is construction going on in the area so there will be noise in the rooms if you stick around during the day, but that probably would not be an issue for most. An excellent breakfast is available at a good price. The one negative point is that there is no air conditioning during the non summer months and this has been a hot year. Luckily, the room did cool off sufficiently in the evening.

Buena ubicación. Parking cerrado al lado del hotel. El desayuno demasiado sencillo para el costo. El hotel será agrandado a la brevedad. Viajé con mi esposa.

Thank God we finally stayed in a nice place on our final night. Our room was exactly like in the photo and we enjoyed our stay here very much. I almost liked the room better than the city. The price was great for the wonderful quality here.

The hotel was OK but it wasn't worth a 3-stars as quoted. Quietness is rated low because there were street works by that time.

Really fine hotel offering a quiet location but very close to the city centre. We would stop here again.

The Hotel is very good; an interesting building (an old bakery very well refurbished); nice rooms; breakfast good. Excellent location close to the main sites: check out the nearby park which has superb views of the river and surrounding countryside

We loved this hotel. The rooms were nice, well kept, and quite spacious in comparison to other places we stayed in different parts of Spain. The staff was great and provided us with good maps of the town as well as good suggestions for activities. Everything we wanted to do or see was within a fifteen-minute walk. Quality/price ratio was fair. We would highly recommend it.

Absolutly charming! A hidden jewel in the heart of the city. Noise from other rooms through air ducts needs to be worked on.

The room was advertized as having internet access. This was not available and the staff knew nothing about it. There was a machine for games in the lobby.

Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Der Kleiderschrank war etwas zu klein. Lärmempfindliche könnte nachts die Hellhörigkeit im Haus etwas stören. Sonst freundlich und sehr gut gelegen.

Location is perfect. There is a garage next to the hotel for 12 Euro a day, which was very convenient.

A lovely character hotel in an excellent position inside the old Toledo City walls. Unfortunately the plumbing is very noisy and rather disturbing at night. Also the room was very hot (in mid-November) and we could not get the aircon to cool - only to heat! Hotel facilities are limited, but this is no problem as there are many restaurants in walking distance and all the sights are reachable on foot.

United Kingdom, Jul 2004
Hotel Pintor El Greco is in a really nice part of the old City, with all the main sights only 2-15mins max walk away. With a small park opposite and the gorge it gave some breathing space and respite. Much less cramped than up by the main square. Great place to stay, staff excellent. NB the hotel has private underground parking for E6 per night (you can park on the street for free Sat/Sun). Only downside at all was if a room nearby flushed the loo you all knew about it! That being said I would stay there again

Everything fine except that the fact that breaksfast was not included in price was a little bit disappointing surprise.
