I spend a few days in Thessaloniki to visit a conference. I could easily go to the conference center by public busses. The hotel is directly in the center of Thessaloniki, sourounded by several cafees and bars. Nevertheless it was pretty quiet at night with closed windows. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
