Eurotel Tavira - Tavira

The hotel as usual was great! My wife and I have been there a few times now and have seen a slight improvement each time. The Dinning room is lovely, with it's timber slat-ceiling, Swedish style. The service is excellent and the food very nice and plentiful. A good variety too! One horrible thing to note is their BEDS, they are extremely hard, uncomfortable and noisy to say the least. One good thing about them is that they are clean! We liked the pillows !!! We shall of course go again, possibly next month as usual. Entertainment is enjoyable when provided, but this only on Saturdays. We understand that re-furbishing will be carried out in the coming months, we wish them luck in their endeavors as it will no doubt be better for their clients. Thank you P.S Breakfast is excellent!

In assoluto il peggior hotel visitato in Portogallo e caro, molto caro, rispetto alla qualità delle stanze. Entrando nello specifico: la moquette della stanza è adatta per un esperimento scientifico sulla cultura batterica; ciò che però stupisce, almeno nella nostra stanza, l'ultima in fondo al terzo piano, è il pesante armadio contro cui poggiano i letti; rimane infatti, fra letti ed armadio, uno spazio infinitesimale impossibile da pulire all'interno del quale vedevamo macchie, briciole antiche, polvere di ogni genere. Ecco sapere di dormire sopra tanta zozzeria per 80 euro al giorno non ci ha fatto dormire…le tende decorate da simpatiche bruciature di sigaretta completavano l’arredamento della stanza. Oltre a ciò, pur apparentemente isolato, di notte strani e sinistri rumori accompagnavano le nostre già insonni ore: un continuo sbattere di un qualcosa infatti, assolutamente impossibile capirne provenienza e natura, scandiva l'intermonabile tempo notturno...un incubo! Ma non scoraggiatevi il Portogallo è bellissimo e questo è l'unico albergo infernale su una ventina visitati!

At reception asked me to pay the entire stay at check-in time!!!!! The hotel is on a mai road too far from Tavira, the room are old and the restauranto not too clean.

Eurotel Tavira is located approximately 3 km east of Tavira city and even longer from departure point to Ihla Tavira. The shuttle buses are serving these destinations every day except tuesday and wednesday. Although answering questions, the personel is not very helpful and welcomming. Generally, this hotel is allright, but be aware of the distance to the city centre! Its not convenient to get around by foot.
