Hotel Mesón de Sancho - Tarifa

Hotel si ok, but the rooms are small, old...Well and take care the hotel is crosed by a road, and the rooms who are on the other side, as mine, are really no confortable.

Very nice 3 star hotel 10 minutes driving from Tarifa city centre. very nice environment, quiet and confortable.

They offered us a very spacious room with a balcony to enjoy the scenic views. The Hotel was a delight. Its lounge and reception are and the restaurant are very well decorated and the overall stay was delightful. The place is 10km away from the Playas (beaches) of Tarifa. parking is ample and the breakfast was good in the restaurant though we had to pay for it.

This Hotel is situated on the hills above Tarifa with wonderful views of Africa and Atlas Moutains. Rooms are traditional Spanish with Shutters and Terrace and Fridge and Aircon available in some rooms , though in mountains at 1000 feet its is not needed. Breakfast is ok, and there is a garage and mini supermarket next door. Parking is great with covered parking. Drive to Tarifa takes about 10 mins. This hotel is very good value at 50E per night as hotels in Tarifa itself are very expensive. Tarifa is a wonderful place with trips to Africa possible, Kite surfing, Whale watching, Good Restaurants and the meeting of two seas. A good place to stay to visit Tarifa

The hotel's quite ok for a one night's stay, it's somehow old-fashioned-cosy, but the surroundings (somewhere in the nowhere on a rural main road, view on an untended garden) do not really inspire for a longer stay. The personnel was however very nice and attentive.

Very humid and smelly room! Very poor cost-performance ratio. It was one of the most expensive and definitely the worst Hotel during a 10 days trip through Andalusia.

The hotel is nice but the receptionist are really not all sympatic

Even if very close to the street, the hotel has an excellent structure: spacious, quiet, clean with a wonderful swimmingpool inside a beautiful garden. I suggest to reserve room 106: in my opinion it's the best one!!!

The hotel is located along a traffic road.

What a delightful surprise! I almost hate being honest in this review because I'd like to keep this little gem hidden. The hotel was quiet, clean, and offered a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The resturant was wonderful, providing some of the more memorable meals from my trip to Spain. I would definitely return to this oasis.

We found the hotel excellent value and could not fault it. Perhaps a note about its position on the road before you get to Tarifa from Algeciras and after from Tarifa to Cadiz would be helpful. It is convenient for Tarifa and Algeciras for the ferries to Morocco

+ This was very nice hotel, in older style, spaceous rooms and very nice atmosphere. The staff was very nice, but not speaking English vey well. - This was quite far from the downtown and right next to the highway. I would come again tho.

I recommand this hotel without any restriction specially the "bungalos"
