The hotel is not strictly speaking in Taormina which worried us a little before we arrived but the location overlooking Isola Bella was wonderful and there is easy access to Taormina by the cable car. The best part of the hotel was the friendly and very helpful service from the hotel staff and especially to Nocolo who came up with an interesting "recipe"-whisked egg whites-as a cure for a sprained ankle.

By carFrom A3 highway Napoli-Salerno, take the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway. Take Villa San Giovanni exit and reach the port of Messina. Proceed along the A18 highway towards Catania and take the exit Taormina. Follow the signs to Taormina Mare and merge on via Nazionale, where you will find the Panoramic Hotel.
