Jonic Hotel Mazzarò - Mazzarò, Taormina

The view from our view was just beautiful! Location was great...the hotel is very charming and just a fun cable car down from Taromina. The price we paid and what we got in return exceeded our expectations! Would definitely return.

Provided the price quoted, no wi-fi (free or by payment) is a serious shortfall).

Lovely location, close to funicular. Paid public parking area nearby.

Just a little problem to eat on wednesday because the baia is closed and not write on the door....

Wonderful staff- very friendly and helpful. Great location and excellent value for the money. Overall, a great place to stay. The breakfast is inadequate and poor--be prepared to go out every morning for coffee and pastries.

Excellent location, very clean rooms, only 1 issue: the rooms facing to the main road are quite noisy.

We stayed in a 'superior' double room with balcony and sea view. The staff were generally good and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was uninspiring - a little more local breads and less of those horrible packets of insipid dried bread would have been better. Their website states that each room has a hairdryer but we had to ask for one and this turned out to be the only one between twenty rooms! Furniture could have been smarter - our dressing table had been poorly modified from a previous existence. We did wonder about the 'superior' description. We were recommended good pizzas at Pizzeria La Palma close by - and they were excellent. A short walk to the beach, but I expect that in summer crossing the main road would require care. Internet facilities available in hotel next door but they never worked for us and our costs were refunded. Good local shops for food and wine. Taxis more expensive than London or New York! Get the hotel to pre-book one if you can.

The hotel is nice. The view from the room is very nice. It is very well situated to go up to Taormina (lift). The door of the hotel is just in the road and it is difficult to find a place to park. There is a small parking close to the hotel but you have to pay for it. The beach is very nice, just crossing the road. The breakfast is poor.

During our stay, the staff only spoke italian and couldn't understand French or English, except on the morning we left. Otherwise, the hotel is really well situated, in front of the sea and next to the funicular directly going to Taormina's center. We would come back.
