Hotel Villa Taormina - Taormina

It is difficult to describe the villa as a hotel and answer standard questions. It has its charms and is well represented on its web page. One is only a few steps away from Corso Umberto I, where is all happening. Certainly to be recommended as a villa accommodation if one is OK with a B&B set up

Villa Taormina is a beautiful hotel and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Anna's breakfasts are wonderful - the best breakfasts we had in Sicily. Her omelette is a must. The only scary bit was parking - reversing backwards up the slope into the garden and then squeezing through the very narrow road to get out! The location is ideal being so central but the hotel was very hard to find in the dark on a Saturday night!

This is a very sweet hotel. It is well located by Taormina standards (where steps are usually inevitable). The fact that it is owner-run is very evident. It is comfortable and has a very congenial atmosphere. Recommended.

Very good location right in the centre but still quiet. Lovely interior decor. Staff were all extremely friendly. This hotel will suit anyone looking for somewhere small and intimate. If you want a lot of facilities such as pool it may not be ideal, although you do get to use the pool at a nearby hotel and beach facilities a few km away (including shuttle there). Overall highly recommended.

DELIGHTFUL SMALL HOTEL. STAFF WENT BEYOND EXPECTATIONS TO MAKE SURE WE WERE TAKEN CARE OF. BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED, AND AN EXCELLENT LOCATION TO THE SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS. BREAKFAST WAS A SELECTION OF HOT AND COLD - VERY GOOD AND THE COFFEE WAS AMAZING. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE WATER WAS NOT ALWAYS AS HOT AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED - BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE INCONVENIENCE. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

This was our first visit to Taormina and we loved it. The hotel is small and distinctively furnished - flying cherubs and chandaliers style - very quiet,clean and comfortable. The staff were unfailingly welcoming and helpful. We loved the breakfast terrace with wonderful views and the small terrace with jacuzzi and sun beds.

Villa Taormina is a year old hotel in a newly renovated old villa, lovingly restored and decorated with antiques and ceramics. The owners who actively run the hotel and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, including the owner personally driving our rental car down the narrow winding road to the dropoff location. Breakfast on a terrace overlooking the sea and Mt. Etna was delightful and included many Sicilian pasteries and torts. The hotel is located on a narrow street with very little car traffic and is very quiet, but is an easy five minute walk down to the Corso Umberto. A wonderful location! Our room with a private terrace complete with table, chairs and large umbrella, was not overly large (this is an old villa) but nicely furnished with antique furniture, and the bathroom was new, large and attractive. It was a wonderful three night stay and we both would love to go back again. I would recommend it highly to anyone who prefers a small hotel (only 8 rooms), beautiful furnishings and personal attention from the owners and staff.

This is an absolutely charming hotel, the decor must be seen to be believed. A real oasis what is a very touristy area. We would certainly return.

Excellent hotel location for weekends.Few steps away from main shopping area in Taormina, restaurants and historical place at walking distance.You do not need the car to spend two beautiful days in Taormina. Excellent breakfast on the terrace with breathtaking view of Taormina, Giardini Naxos and the Etna .You will enjoy the home made cakes and strawberry tiramisu.
