Hotel Villa Fiorita - Taormina

Very interesting property with alot of character. Only downside three flights of stairs to reach the lift, but staff readily carried luggage up the stairs for you. Overall we enjoyed it, it is close to the centre and its very good choice of places to eat.

A charming old hotel, very nice view. the swimming pool needs to be repainted and modernised, so does the salon. Good breakfast . I have been twice in taormina but now this city is of no interest ( too many tourists shops).

The hotel has a charming 'old world'atmosphere; of grand times which have passed. Good sitting rooms, breakfast terrace and excellent pool. Wonderful location for buses, cable car to beach, shopping, restaurants. Quiet. Parking available. Great views. Worst feature: carrying bags up several flights to the lift.

We were a family of 4 and had the room on the top floor of the hotel which had 5 star views, but unfortunately the hotel was more like 2 stars. The room was spacious and more apartment style, with 2 seperate bedrooms for the 2 kids. However 1 of the 2 kids bedrooms was more like a cubby-hole. Furniture in the room and in the hotel in general was old and the hotel looks like it hasn't been touched in +30 years. The pool water looked murky. But despite all this I could have stayed if the shower was running properly. Instead it dribbled a small flow of water and was not hot enough. Much of this was due to the height of the room and inadequate water-pressure. Breakfast was also poor. It was not buffet and no cereal was provided (continental breakfast only). The only positives were the great location (close to the main street in town, and very close to the bus terminal) plus the sensational views. But we would have had to pay a lot more in Taormina for something better. If comfort is important to you, look elsewhere. But if you're on a budget, it's still worth considering this hotel.

The VIlla Fiorita is very central to the cable car and town,we had a pleasant stay and the staff were very friendly.WIll stay at the VIlla again.

Lovely character hotel in good location. Lovely views from balcony. Breakfast area - lovely and breakfast very generous. Hotel could do with a bit of updating. Pool area was small but very pleasant.

ensemble très vieillot et à la limite du décrépi. une des deux chambres avait un bruit infernal de ventilation extérieure très désagréable et très fort. Mais la maison a beaucoup de charme et est vraiment dans Taormina.

Hotel as such is unice, it needs refurbishment.

Our stay at Villa Fiorita was very nice. Its proximity to the centre of Taormina is an asset, the view from our room was fantastic and the staff were very helpful when we wanted to organise a last minute outing to the Etna and a very early breakfast. We will definitively recommend this establishment.

Un sitio muy recomendable, el hotel es antiguo, pero está limpio y muy bien ubicado. Fuimos 5 amigas, la habitacion que nos dieron para tres era muy grande. El trato muy bueno, el recepcionista de la noche encantador.
