Hotel Villa Chiara - Taormina

Drive in Taormina is really complicated so the best is park in the parking before the town, take the free bus and walk to the hotel. The breakfast is not very big, but not too bad. I didn't like don't be able to use air condition, coz is possible just in August

L'hotel est fonctionnel et très bien placé dans Taormine. Les chambres sont propres et pratiques, sans charme particulier. La climatisation fonctionne. Le petit déjeuner est très correct.

The hotel has a nice location, near the center and all the restaurant. Staff available.

Good value for money. I'd have no problem going there again.

Al estar cerca de la carretera de circunvalacion es bastante ruidoso. Por la calle del hotel pasaban continuamente las motos.

We stayed in a triple with a friend who travelled with us. The room was a bit small to be used as a triple. Also, our room only had one very high and very narrow window, making it impossible to see outside, and this gave room a cave-like feel. (think interior room on a cruise ship) However, our room and the hotel in general was well-kept and clean. The staff was quite nice. The hotel is also quite centrally located.

I would return to this hotel, but you can't expect luxury here. The bed was kind of hard, you have to mop up the floor after your shower, and the towels are line dried (and a little scratchy). The outside noise wasn't too bad. Breakfast was the usual - cappuccino, cornetto, and juice. Not bad. If you want the key to the safe in the room, it is an extra .50 Euro per day. Everybody at the hotel was very pleasant/helpful and I felt secure there.

Nice people.little rooms.archaics showers.you have to pay for parking(10 euro a day)for air conditioning(8 euro aday).a little bit expensive for a little hotel!!but you are in TAORMINA!!!!

Hotel tres bien situé ,prestations d'ensemble satisfaisantes pour un prix acceptable ,dans un des sites les recherchés au monde ! Seul bémol :la climatisation.....en supplement. Un prix majoré aurait été plus élégant.

A very nice hotel with a beautiful spacious sun terrace. Very central location. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. There was an offer by the hotel that you could buy a ticket for a private beach with the bus transfer to the beach included for the price of 6€, which was very convenient. The only surprise was that the air condition is not included in the price of the room. If you want it on then you have to pay 8€ extra per day.

Bathrooms are not functional - no space at all - very poor - We had to pay for air-conditioning - something that was supposed to be included. We highly do not recommend it.

O hotel é bom, a localização ótima, o café da manhã foi bom, estacionamos o carro na frente do hotel pagando uma taxa. O único senão foi as toalhas de banho e rosto que eram muito ásperas, coisa que poderia ser resolvida usando amaciante na lavagem.

This was a bad experience overall. Room and bathroom were awful, and bright hotel sign was right outside of our window.

This was an absolutely charming hotel in a superb location in Taormina. The hotel was spotless and very well maintained. Breakfasts were included and very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful in every way. The Bath in our room was very small but it was more than adequate. I would love to stay at this hotel again!!

These comments appoly to HOTEL RESIDENCE to which we were transferred as CHIARA did not have what we had requested. Overall this was to our advantage.\ Manager was very helpful

There was only one (1) other person staying at the hotel my first night. I'm still not sure why, but I was not allowed a room that would have been overlooking the city and water. I asked but was told my room was best. This did not set well with me. I had to listen to motorscooters day and night as my room was on the street side. The room was clean but the furnishings were very old and the bed was not much more than a board with a few inches of foam on top. Breakfast was minimal....but the cost of the room reflects this.

Villa Chiara was a lovely, clean and modern place. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our stay there very much. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

It was a fine Hotel staff was very nice. Onlly problem was parking and the fact that it was on a very very narrow street.

This was a very nice place. My only gripe was the background noise! However, this was to be expected as the hotel was slap bang behind one of the main streets in the town. So it was VERY central. Recommended.

Friendly staff, extremely well priced for its central location and good value for money.

I will recommend this hotel to all budget travellers. Very nice rooms and personel.

Great location. 50 or 60 stairs to climb with bags to get to hotel from Corso Umberto, but a very good value.
