Hotel Taodomus - Taormina

What a great hotel! Staff were most pleasant and so helpful! Terrace has beautiful view. Walk from parking garage is easy and about 2 city blocks...the directions given in the email were easy to follow. Wonderful restaurant recommendations from the staff. We had to leave at 0400 and they had a bag of croissants and cakes for us to take along! Highly suggest staying there for your visit to Taormina. It is a charming town.

It'a an epoque hotel recently refurbished in a delicious early '900 style. Conveniently spotted right into the heart of Taormina at only 150 meters from the long-stay parking of Porta Catania. Having the breakfast on the terrace looking the wonderful view of Taormina and the bay of Giardini Naxos has no price. Highly suggested if you're looking for a quiet and quality stay in Taormina without spending a fortune.

A very elegantly designed hotel, perfectly located in centro above the Corso near Porta Catania. Room was beautiful with balcony, not noisy at all. The top floor terrace for breakfast had stunning views of Etna and the sea. it would be great if lift could start at ground level, however more than made up for by lovely ambience and welcoming staff.

Great hotel and great service. A boutique hotel with own solutions and personal touch. The shower could have been more spacious cvonsidering price. The elevator starts from first floor to which you have to carry your bags.

This was a delightful hotel. The description about parking needs to be more precise. You cannot park adjacent to the hotel even to offload your bags. You first must go to the huge parking garage.

Excellent in most respects however roof terrace not finished yet which causes a few problems with breakfast. Nevertheless the staff/owners made up for this by offering breakfast in rooms and they couldn't have been more helpful or friendly.

The hotel is located on Corso Umberto, the main street of Taormina and is very near to the shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel has 9 rooms. Breakfast can be served in your room or downstairs in the communal area. Breakfast was served by the helpful staff and the selection was very good. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We were allocated a room facing the street. The room was spacious, neat and clean. The bathroom was clean, there was a shower (no bath). There was a balcony which also looked out onto the street. We were disturbed by noise from outside early in the morning and during the middle of one of the nights. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others. If you are a light sleeper, request for a quiet room not facing the main street.

Nice hotel, if a bit expensive. The only down side was we had a balcony with a great view but couldnt sit on it in the evening as the smell from the kitchen of the restaruant next door was a bit stinky.

It was a pleasure to stay in this small and nice family owned hotel. We would absolutely recommend our friends to stay there, one should choose the room with the view, on the top floor. The rooms are quite small but very tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfasts were superb, for one who loves fresh pastrys and fruits, great coffee. The service was excellent for breakfast.

Our stay at Taodomus was fantastic! The staff and accommodation were really, really good. The only difference between the website description and the hotel is the website did not do it justice - it is so much better in reality!!! thanks for a lovely stay.
