As a discerning and hyper critical international traveller who always travels 5 star, this is honestly the best hotel that I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The rooms and suites are splendid: high end luxury, very comfortable, well designed, and asthetic genius. The most friendly, helpful, professional, and curteous staff that I have ever come across. TMy wife and I had a truly amazing time and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If you are in Sicily, this is the only place to stay.

Had a great time at the El Jebel.Highest standards throughout.Brilliant location near the Casa Umberto.Landmark building.Friendly efficient service.Value for money admittedly at the top end of the scale.Spa not yet completed.Restaurant Ciampoli also very high standards if under utilised presumably due to the range of local competition.One or two very minor problems but nothing to spoil our stay.Altogether an excellent hotel.
