Bay Palace Hotel - Mazzarò, Taormina

General lack of maintenance. Too many dogs barking all night in the surroundings. Unusual to have to pay for Internet in a 4* hotel. Breakfast and dinner : poor quality. Taormina is a beauttiful place and the hotel location is good. Parking facilities are theoritical (no effective use possible)

We had a nice Stay there. The staff was very helpful and polite. We had a room with a wonderful sea view. The hotel is a little bit oldfashioned and we liked this athmospere. Nice pool with sea view and a bar.

This was supposed to be a 4 stars hotel. I would not give more than 2,5 Needs to be refurbished, especially the washroom. The restaurant is not worth a try.

Considering the quality of the room, it is tought to accept that this is a 4 stars hotel... The beds for the children were put in a sort of corridor/room entrance and the bathroom was really old style. The refrigerator was old and noisy and it was hard to sleep. The parking is very narrow and steep with very limited parking places and it is very difficult to enter/exit (I scratched my car trying to get in...). Unfortunately, the beautiful view from the balcony cannot compensate all these negative points.

Bay Palace Hotel was just Amazing! It is in an incredible location with breath taking views alongside the hotel! The service was just brilliant, I was made to feel very comfortable and welcome. Everyone was so proffessional, friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer, it was a great place to experience Italys beautiful Sicily.

A seaside hotel but the building is a bit old fashioned. The location should be better defined on the webpage. The breakfast was a bit insufficient for a four star hotel. Still good value for staying in Taormina

Location was great, rooms were fine, breakfeast was average, but dinner was terrible, poor quality for 25 eoros each for dinner. Wonderful restaurant across the street with excellent food in hotel Sirene at much lower prices. Staff very friendly. Parking in very steep driveway, very difficult. Many people scraped their cars. I chose to park on the street.

Nice hotel. Rooms have great sea view. Staff courteous and kind. Great location. Better value in the many restaurants around than to eat dinner in hotel. Definitly would stay again.

We have appreciated the wellcoming and the beautifull swimming pool as well as the very nice overview on the sea. The hotel is ideally located for visiting Taormina as well as ETNA. With our 17 and 19 old sons, we have enjoyed the two days we spent, even if it was a litle bit tricky to park.

Bay Palace had great pool, short walk to Beach to stay at La Caravella beach bar. Everyone friendly and helpful. Short walk to Gondola cable cars to Taormina. Parking included but on a steep slant. Will be back

El hotel es muy lindo y agradable! Está en la bahia de Mazzaro, a 10 cuadras de un funicular que por 2 Euros te deja en Taormina rapidamente. A pocas cuadras del hotel se pueden encontrar una serie de playas (tienen muchas rocas) muy lindas, con agua transparente y algunas medusas que dificultan el baño, pero se las puede evitar. Mi habitación daba al mar, pero otras habitaciones son interiores. Igualmente tiene muchas terrazas alrededor de la piscina, en las que uno puede descansar o tomar o comer algo. La piscina es perfecta. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y los baños también. El hotel es grande y tiene un lugar muy grande para desayunar, con vista al mar, el desayuno es continental. El personal es muy amable, sobretodo por la concerje y la moza, los hombres concerges y mozos son antipáticos y gritones. 100 % ok!

Hotel en Giardini Naxos, en la costa pero muy cerca de la salida de la Autovía. Habitaciones amplias con terraza. Muy comodo para visitar Taormina sin quedarse en el centro. Parking un poco estrcho, pero bien

Stayed 2 nights -travelled with friend- Great view of bay from balcony room - spacious rooms. The only problem was access from train station directly to hotel with public tansport - bus dropped us off at a point and still had to drag the luggage luckily down the hill to reach the hotel- The Taxi guys at train station were not hospitabl so didnt want to give them the businesss! Asked too much!! Would be good if hotel had shuttle service from train station! Pool was clean and lovely and welcoming and gret to have the beach in close proximity; Need to stay longer next time to make use of the facilities!
