Merchant's House Hotel - Tallinn

We are a group of 4 mature friends travelling together. We do not rent cars so location is very important to us. Merchant House was very centrally located - right in the Old Town. It was easy to explore the Old Town and also to get to the newer city. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very attentive and helpful staff. Check in was quick, easy and hassle free. Our rooms were spacious, clean and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and ample for our needs. We spent 3 nights at Merchant House and were very happy with our stay there. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tallinn.

Great place, in the very heart of old Tallinn, near tourist info center. Elegant and pleasant hotel with friendly and welcoming people at reception desk. Don't be disappointed by your first look at breakfast buffet since you have to order it once sitting!!!

Great hotel. The staff - and as it seems Estonians in general - was very friendly and helpful. Check out restaurant AED, just around the corner!

Excellent location, very friendly staff, some rooms are better than others. Would be happy to go back again. Possible noise problem from the courtyard restaurant in high summer.

Lovely hotel, very central within the lower old town metres from the town square. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay there again. The only down side was the air conditioner made an annoying noise and had to be turned off to sleep, making the room very hot.

This is really a fun, atmospheric place. It's particularly desirable to get a room not facing the street, since the foot traffic and restaurant noise from the street can be intrusive. Clever decor and well appointed bathroom.

Marion and I had a great stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Their restaurant is the best in Tallinn. The breakfasts were also excellent.
