Hotel Barons - located in the heart of historic Old Town of Tallinn, Suur-Karja Street 7 – is a 4 - 5 business class hotel that offers high quality accommodation with luxurious extra services.
The hotel was opened in 2003 in a late Jugendstil building completed in the year 1912 as a bank office. The newly renovated building has maintained many of the elements of historical architecture, such as doors, elevators and bank safes.
Hotel Barons is a new and elegant small hotel where clients are always warmly welcomed and where their wishes are given personal attention. It is a perfect place to spend high-quality time during a holiday or a business trip.
The hotel is well located for Old Town and City Centre sightseeing, shopping and entertainment.

I have been to Barons twice before and really loved it. However, this time i arrived and got moved to some dodgy apartments about 5 minutes walk away in a secluded area. I refused to stay here as i'd booked to stay in the main hotel. They managed to find us one room in the main hotel (we had ordered 2 as it was one couple and one single). On the last day we had to leave early (as in 9.30am) and they said breakfast wouldn't be availalble until 10.30 so brought us up some stale muesli. The fact that we weren't going to be in the main hotel or that breakfast wouldn't be offered to us was not even communicated to us before the event.Also on New Year's Eve when we were trying to get ready the whole hotel ran out of hot water so we couldn't shower and they didn't fix it until the morning. I would like to make an official complaint and hope to hear from you soon. Many thanks and regards, Amanda

The Barrons Hotel has a great deal going for it. It's in a terrific location, among the best possible locations in the Old Town. The building has a very nice history, the lobby areas have been renovated and reflect the age and charm of the property as management intends. The bar in the lobby is inviting; the service quite good (the bartender gave me a small taste of Vana Tallinn, which I had not previously tried). That being said, the rooms are small; the beds comfortable, the floors in the bathroom are heated. The breakfast was good. The trouble with my stay related to security - being in a party city, one can't help understand when guests arrive inebriated. Two nights of drunk Russians and Germans talking loudly in the halls, running into furniture and walls where that phenomenon lasts more than an hour with no intervention in my mind eliminates all the positive attributes and until they can fix that I don't recommend the hotel.
