This hotel has a great location, but also some issues. The first night my room was on the first floor, so I was awoken by breakfast smells (cooking bacon and toast) and noise. The airconditioning did not work - it was blowing hot air. After two complaints I was moved to a better room. However, the walls are not soundproof. Also, one day I came back to my room to find the door open, as the maid had not pulled the door all the way closed! Front desk service was generally good, though the acting manager found a new position and told me that all the Rendezvous staff wanted to come and work for her. Breakfast was expensive and limited - even my taxi driver warned me it was poor value.
