Hotel Susa & Stazione - Susa

Nice hotel across the road from the train station and close to everything.good staff and a nice restaurant in the hotel.

We stayed four nights at the Susa & Stazione to bicycle in the area and watch a stage of the Giro d'Italia. It is a delightful family run hotel and the owners/staff speak French and English fluently as well as Italian. They have a bar for clients only and provided helpful information on the area. The hotel is ideal for bicyclists and motorcyclists with a washing machine and closed terrace with clothelines and a secure storage area. Breakfast is ample and good quality, with yogurt, eggs, toast, pastries, juice, fruit, etc. We chose half board and enjoyed wonderful dinners that offered Piemonte specialties as well as dishes from other regions of Italy. The hotel is on the main street across from the train station but our room was on the back side and fairly quiet even with the windows open except for the sound of the rushing river nearby. There is free wifi and a computer in a lounge room, the hotel is old but fully updated and very clean everywhere. There seems to be no A/C but on warm late May days, our 2nd floor room cooled down quickly after sundown for comfortable sleeping. Susa is an interesting and quaint town with a historic pedestrian center of shops and sights including a Roman arch and lovely churches in walking distance from the hotel. We found the hotel very good value for money, the owners/staff warm and friendly and we will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

Kleines Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, spricht kein Deutsch. Aber mit ein bisschen Englisch kommt man gut klar. Liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße in Susa nahe Zentrum. Ich hatte ein Zimmer an der Strassenseite. Abends flacht der Verkehr stark ab so das ich das nicht als Störend empfand. Morgends wird es dann allerdings schnell lauter. Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze nur ein paar Abstellplätze für Motorraeder. In der Naehe gibt es einen grossen oeffentlichen Parkplatz. So das das auch kein Problem ist.

We only needed a room for a night before checking into the ski resort in Sestriere for a week. This was a fantastic location for this purpose and a warm welcome to Italy. A nice family run establishment.

We were on a trip to the lakes of north Italy, passing by in Susa. Room ok but simple, the main road infront naturally noisy, latecomers were extremely noisy at ~~2 o'clock in the morning. Our room to the back not quiet neither.

Great hotel overall....located right opposite the Susa railway station. The staff spoke quite good english too.

The Hotel owner came out to great us on arrival and allowed us to use his garage to park our motorcycles in at no additional charge. The owner is a keen motorcyclist and was only too aware of our needs. He was very attentive and spoke very good English, the Hotel is ideally situated being on the route to the Frejus Tunnel, Susa is also a very pretty town with plenty of bars and places to eat. Although we only stayed one night I wouldn't hesitate in returning to this property.

Service was very excellent and kindly and helpfull! W´re thanking by the Hotel for helping in private organizing problems We needed for one member of the familiy a flight in torino and the hotel was helping to make the reservation. The hotel boss was very kind and the diner was italian and very good for us, cyclists. Thanks.

If you can, skip Sousa and head to the ski resorts a bit higher in the mountains. While this hotel was very clean and the rooms were very modern--traffic noise made it impossible to sleep. The rooms are right above the main street of this rather uninviting town.

Very nice hotel situated very near the beautiful and interesting town of Susa. Rooms with little balcony and good bathroom.Good Breakfast.

Small and nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Helpfull and english speaking staff. Biggest pro is the excellent restaurant. A minor is the location: from the hotel: it is still almost an hours drive to the skiresorts. All in all value for money.

We were disappointed in the breakfast offered - of the 10 hotels we stayed in on our trip this was the poorest. (Coffee and Croissant) No meats or cheeses. The room was excellent though!

The hospitality was excellent. A special request was made regarding arranging transportation and all possible options were provided with prices. The food was excellent and the service fantastic at the restaurant and throughout all aspects of my stay.

Wonderful on property restaurant. We left a coat in the room and had an email waiting upon our return home asking us if they could mail the coat to us.
