Very much a 5 star property. German excellence and efficientcy at its best. Expensive but you get what you pay for at Le Meridien. The best breakfast ever ! Location of hotel is close to the beautiful Stuttgart Modern Art Gal. but quite a long walk from Konningstrasse. Great overall stay.

Very expensive for what you got. It was a cold hotel and mostly used for business travel. We were going to the Porche factory tour and just needed a place to stay in Stuttgart.

Beautiful hotel, appeared to be very new, a 5 minute walk from the main shopping street - Konigstrasse and from the Main Train Station. Only slight downside was having to walk through a reasonably dark park, between the hotel-main station-Konigstrasse at night to reach the hotel, although we encountered no problems this said. Also - a busy main road runs in front of the hotel, but we could not hear any road noise despite our room facing the road towards the park on the other side and there is a public foot-bridge that crosses from the Hotel to the park. The Hotel was spotless as one would expect of a 5 Star, staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful.
How to reach Hotel Le Méridien Stuttgart
By car
From the North: take motorway 67 or 6 to motorway 81. Exit motorway 81 at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Follow route B10 and the signs to Zentrum (city centre). Turn right at the Pragsattel onto B27 (Heilbronner Straße). Turn left at the traffic light onto Schillerstraße when you reach the Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto Willy-Brandt-Straße (B14 towards Bad Cannstatt/Esslingen). The hotel is on the right side.
From the West: take motorway 5 to motorway 8/81. Exit A8/A51 at junction Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart. Proceed on motorway 831 and follow the signs to Stuttgart-Vaihingen and Zentrum (city centre). The motorway intersects with route B14. Follow the signs to Zentrum and Bad Cannstatt/Esslingen. In the city centre, B14 Konrad-Adenauer-Straße turns into Willy-Brandt-Straße. The hotel is located on the right.
From the South: take motorway 8 and exit at junction Stuttgart-Degerloch/Möhringen. Follow the B27 to Zentrum (city centre). Proceed towards Charlottenplatz. Turn right to B14 (Konrad-Adenauer-Straße) and drive towards Bad Cannstatt/Esslingen. Continue for approximately 1 km, the Konrad-Adenauer-Straße turns into Willy-Brandt-Straße. The hotel is located on the right.
By train
From the central train station (Hauptbahnhof) you will reach the hotel in only 7 minutes on foot. Walk across the Schlossgarten garden. The hotel lies at its end.
By airplane
From Stuttgart airport, from the first floor at terminal 1, take the S-Bahn city train S2 or S3 to the central train station (Hauptbahnhof). Departures: every 10-20 minutes. Travelling time: approx. 27 minutes. Alternatively, you may also take a taxi opposite terminal 1 on the third floor. A taxi ride costs approx. €30,00.
