Nice hotel in a perfect location in a walking distance of all points of interest. I got some difficulties to park since the Hotel Car park was overcrowded.

Location has easy access to island ferries, and Mottarone mountain. A 15-minute pleasant walk to Stresa downtown. Public areas are very nice with beautiful paintings on the walls. Minor disadvantages: There is road and railway noise at night even if you are located on the lakeside. Buffet breakfast has plenty to eat but it could have better quality. Need to pay 2 euros for pool towels. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

Positives: very friendly staff at all levels, good location a few minutes walking distance from the boats for the Borromeo Islands and approx. 20 min. to town, large free parking lot. Overall a pleasant, clean hotel with lovely garden. Negatives: room advertised to overlook the garden was above the parking lot and the road which was rather noisy at night, the hotel charged 2 euros per towel for the pool, Wifi did not work in the room and was sporadic in the lounge, coffee was nowhere near the quality you would expect in Italy!
