exterior Hotel Boston exterior The Boston Hotel in Stresa is located in the immediate vicinity of the placid Lake Maggiore, the most westerly of the three large Prealpine lakes of Europe and the second largest.

This Lake Maggiore hotel is situated in Stresa town centre only 300 metres from the pedestrian area and enjoys a convenient position near the Congress Centre, the lake front and the train station, which is 250 metres from the property. The lake is only 50 metres from the hotel (subject to charge).

Completely renovated, this hotel is under the personal management of the owners and offers, in a fine and friendly atmosphere, comfortable bedrooms, a hall, a TV room, a terrace, a reading corner, a cosy lounge as well as wireless Internet access int the whole building.

Clean, modest, friendly hotel in central location with easy access to lake, shops and restaurants. Small rooms but well equipped. Air conditioning on request. Very good breakfast and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Stresa is well worth visiting - we were sorry not stay longer.

This Hotel is not on the lakefront but it an easy walk.Rooms are spacious and the buffet breakfast was satisfactory.I would stay here again

Really great deal for the price! Hotel is walking distance to train station, downtown/port, and beach. Room was on the small side and not very sound proof, but was clean and had a balcony with lake view. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that, due to a country-wide train strike, I arrived a day later than planned and was charged for the extra day. I guess that is standard practice though, since I could not give 24 hours notice...

This was clean,comfortable hotel but very much a coach stop over hotel. Bed and breakfast hotel only.

Recommend to visit the islands in Lago Maggiore just outside Stresa. Recommend to take the Funovia (15 min walk)to the mountain of Matterone. The Hotel Boston is very convinient for people going by train as we did. It is very close to the railway station but seated below the line so there very no noise from the trains.
