In general everything was fine. Just our room was overlooking noisy street. Location was fine, close to train station and walking distance to city centre.

First time in Strasbourg and hotel is well located for train station but a bit of a walk to historic centre of town. Staff were a bit reserved and not as friendly as we've experienced in other hotels. That said, the room was very nice, clean and had all the facilities promised (good wi-fi, TV etc). A little more expensive than other French hotels of similar standard but suppose that is because of the size and importance of Strasbourg as a European centre.

Single male person. Travelling alone for work / leisure. Found this tip, got a room for practically half price (about 70€ / night), internet and breakfast included, for a neat (although not huge), comfortable, silent room. The common areas of the hotel are quite lovely, the service impeccable and friendly, the position of the hotel, between the railway station and the city centre, is simply perfect. Long story short: excellent hotel.

Good location, nice decor and space in common areas. Helpful staff, good breakfast. But I would not stay here again because of horrible lighting in room-only light is blue tube over bed. No desk lamp. Impossible to work, not even nice to stay in room!

Very very beautiful hotel. one step from train station, one step from petite france, one step from the centre of the town. I will go back there if I go to Strasbourg again.

There's no parkingspace next to the hotel. Customers are sent to a nearby multi-story carpark (Wodli)which is rather unpleasant at night for women. The main panorama lift was out of order for three days. Rooms facing the station have a nice view but are loud at night even with all windows closed. The bathtub had no plug and when I asked for one I was told that the hotel prefered its clients to take showers instead of baths... (I finally got a plug after insisting).

The only things with an inferior quality are the bathroom (look very old) and the quietness as we could here our neigbors going to the toilets. Otherwise everything was perfect. I will hardly recommend this hotel

The hotel was close to the Mirrabel gardens, however the room was substandard for a 4 star hotel and the bathroom was in need of renovation with the ceiling sagging and old fittings and tiles. The food service was attrocious and the worst meal we had during our stay in Europe. A steak ordered well done came in a pool of blood and other menu items ordered were not even close to the menu description and not worthy of a 2 star rating. Overall a very disappointing stay and not worth half the price paid.

The room was spacious, the bathroom large and the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

Ideal next to station, close to city centre. Didn't have breakfast. Staff good and friendly. Could do with more decoration in hall and stairway, looks unfinished.Double doorway to rooms was confusing and corridor lighting poor , difficult to see room numbers. Overall good place to stay.

I have stayed for one night in Grand Hotel. The reservations worked very well, check in was quick. I booked deluxe room which was about 3 EUR more then standard - and that was very spacious and nice room. The furniture is in modern minimalism style, very big bathroom and pay movie give you access to all shown ( not one by one ). To reach railstation you need just to cross the square, to get to very city center - about 5 min walk, the same is to biggers shopping mall in Strasbourg centre. Very good value for the price
