Hotel Pax - Strasbourg

Very good location and accomodation. The hotel is close to the main area of interest (Cathedral, Little French...) but it can be reached by car, with the possibility to park the car in a box of the hotel, at a reasonable price.

Room was very quiet and hotel staff sympathetic. I'd say the room wasn't that big but offers full comfort.

Very friendly welcome. TV too quiet, tram/road and fellow residents too noisy. Plenty of hot water, good shower pressure (even on 5th floor !)but so small that shower curtain sticks to your body, I hate that. No light switch in corridor ? Overall, adequate but I wouldn't book a second time.

As bike rider I liked the good location in the city (near station, public tansportation and shopping area) and the bike-friendly space for storing. Friendly staff, nice and quiet rooms, enchanting inner courtyard. Just don't hang around nearby streets too much. I strongly recommend the place.

Pleasant hotel, conveniently located to enjoy one's visit of the city and good food. Staff has been very helpful.

Hotel is in a great location with only a 5 minute walk to Petite France. Unfortunately, despite reserving parking they had given away our slot so we had to park uote far away. However, parking Ste Marguerite is only a 7 minute walk away and much cheaper than the hotel's parking. Have stayed at this hotel twice now - once in 2003. Since then they have refurbished a lot and the rooms are larger and very clean. We had room 318 and the shower was excellent.

This Hotel is right at the edge of the old City which is just what you want. Petit France is just across the bridge and the main tourist spots are only a short walk away. As with many older Euro cities, parking is at a premium, but luckily the hotel can provide parking in a garage just across the street (for about 9 Euro a night from memory). For all you Aussies and Americans who are used to big cars back home, don't hire one in Europe. We had a Golf and it fitted nicely in all the minute parking spaces available (including this one) I would not hesitate to stay at this Hotel again. Martin Butyn Melbourne, Australia 2005

Good position for exploring city as petite France, old city etc within 15 minutes walk. helpfulness of desk staff was mixed.
