The location is excellent literally across from the train station. Easy check in. Excellent cleaning, fresh pillow cases everyday! close to eating areas, supermarket and only a 10 minute walk and you are in the town centre. Friendly people at reception. let us use their microwave for hot chocs. at night. we had a triple room and it was spacious and very comfortable. good value for money. We didn't eat breakfast.

This is an adequate two star hotel with friendly staff and great location. However, the quadruple room was a bit small for four people, and the cleanliness was questionable (trash under the double bed, pillows smelling of cologne). The breakast at 10 euro/pp was a bit expensive, but the buffet had a decent selection and the breakfast room was well attended by staff. Unfortunately, the poor internal sound insulation was a real problem for us. Our neighbors next door were very loud - screaming, yelling, stomping, etc. - and we could hear everything. We called the front desk to complain, and I know they followed up because I heard the phone ring in their room a few minutes later. I don't fault the hotel for their guests' behavior, but I wish I had known the walls were so thin. This hotel would be fine for young and/or single travelers, or perhaps groups, but I wouldn't recommend it for a family with children. We will stay elsewhere on our next visit to Strasbourg (and there WILL be a next visit - we loved the city!).

We had a wonderful weekend in Strasburg. We stayed from Feb. 18th-20th and arrived early on the first day but were allowed to leave our bags at the reception as check-in is between 1-2pm. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a spacious room (114), which was very clean and welcoming, with a very nice bathroom and a flatscreen TV. There was also a sofa and a an open wardrobe. The hotel is situated perfectly, just opposite the train station. We did not have breakfast at the hotel (10 EUR), so I cannot give my verdict on this. Check-out is at about 11.30am, and the receptionist again kindly let us store our baggage there until our train departed in the evening. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and we definitely want to come back to Strasburg and hopefully stay in this hotel. The price is really good for what you are get here.

Arrived late in the evening and got precisely what we wanted. Pleasant clean well-run place, nice room (smallish but quite OK) - no great frills, courteous service with no fuss. A walk across the square from the main station. We returned there a few days later.

Close to the center, clean, quiet, and good breakfast: a good address to discover Strabourg for a family (2 adults and 2 children 15 and 12). We went by car but very close to the rail station.

The hotel seemed a bit tired and the location, which was once OK now seems to be past its prime (seedy in places), despite efforts to regenerate the square in front of the main station.

The location was great, right by the train station and within walking distance of everything. The breakfast was pretty decent. We got a quadruple and thought it had 4 beds but it had a double, single and a cot, and that wasn't exactly how it was portrayed, but it was fine for one night and very comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The lift worked.

Good mid-range hotel by the station, nothing terribly special, but very clean, well-situated and functional. I got a room with a balcony looking over the Place de la Gare, which is always a plus. Super convenient, and the station neighborhood is quite pleasant compared to a lot of other cities. I found my room quiet when the windows were closed. My Parents were in a smallish room for 2 people, but didn't seem bothered.

We are a family of 4 adults (2 parents, 2 grown children). We stayed in the 'family room' for 4. It was very roomy with a wonderful bathroom and a real hairdryer. There was coffee/tea and cookies waiting for us in the room. The beds were very comfortable. We felt like we were in a luxury hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although breakfast was not included in the price of the room, it was tasty, generous, and well laid out - well worth the price. We were traveling by train, and the hotel is literally across the street from the train station - very convenient. We only needed to stay one night, but I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.

The location of the hotel is just perfect, quite literally across the road from the train station, very convenient. The decor of the hotel is slightly dated, however the bathrooms are all well equipped, clean and relatively new. The linen is very old, however the location of the hotel more than made up for its downfall. This is a perfect hotel as a stop-over, if you intend to stay in Strasbourg for 1 night only.

The staff were great and helpful. We did not know there wasn't air conditioning which was not a problem because we could open the windows. However, there was a large group of young teenagers staying at the hotel and they were noisy during the night. If there had been air conditioning in the room, this would not have been an issue.

The sign for the hotel is not visible from the train station - a little difficult to find. Wallpaper peeling down to the gyproc. We asked for 2 beds - got various beds because we changed rooms 3 times - toilet wouldn't stop flushing, carpet old, 2nd room - size of a postage stamp, dark, 1 very small double bed, lights didn't all work, carpet dirty - 3rd room - 3 beds! carpeting diffently needs upgrading. Actually the hotel is in need of upgrading - 2 of the rooms the curtains were dirty. Also 9 Euros for breakfast was steep but it was a good breakfast. The staff was nice but we would not stay there again. The only good thing was that it is across from the train and very close to Petite France and the old city.

The hotel is brilliantly located near the railway station. There is a large construction project with station extensions, but we were given a room facing the courtyard so noise did not bother us. The staff were friendly & helpful with maps & site-seeing. We did not try breakfast as the price seemed a bit expensive.

Great hotel in centre of town. Best shower we had in Europe! Hot in summer months (we went in June) as no air-con. Car parking is up the road in public car park which was difficult with lots of luggage. A little noisy due to all rooms backing onto eachother around a courtyard (only as we had to have windows open). Very nice and friendly staff. Would stay there again, but in winter or cooler months!
