Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and quiet room and great surroundings. The quality of the breakfast was not up to the price otherwise everything was very enjoyable.

As a hotel this is nice, rather old-fashioned place. I don't mean 'old' as in dingy -- place is well-kept -- but 'old school style' -- which I rather like. The room I had was very large -- almost a suite -- and was quiet. Staff were very helpful and nice. The only downside is that this is a good distance from central Strasbourg. It is walkable (around 45 to 50 minutes from the main train station by the most efficient route) and a tram is not too far away (a few blocks). There are some restaurants right outside which looked pretty good (though I didn't try them) and a small grocery store nearby. It's a quiet mostly residential location. But if you want centrality, this would be a bit far away.

Very welcoming people, always ready-to-help, especially the night-shift clerk at reception. Room temperature a bit high at arrival due to stormy weather - opening windows quickly solved the inconvenience. Quiet area with catering facilities until 10 pm only - beware of late arrivals !

Some of the staff very friendly and helpful, but main front desk manager very unfriendly. Had quarrels with every second guest. We were accused of stealing umbrellas (until he the next day found them in a reception backroom.)

This was a great hotel for our budget on our Honeymoon. The hotel staff were excellent and helped us with our every question about the city and request for assistance with restaurants and entertainment in the area. The hotel itself is located on a quiet residential street and was a leisurely 15 minute stroll to the centre of the city and the main attractions. The room rack rate was 110 Euro and we were able to book for 85 Euro as a last minute booking via Venere. Would recommend to anyone on a budget.

We paid Euro90.00 for a double room and we were staying at the hotel at early Mar. 07'. When we arrived(6PM)the hotel was completely dark, the room was so very hot (outside was 3 degrees)that we have to open the window to get the heat out. The sound isolation was so poor, it felt like there was no wall in between the room and hallway. There was no hair dryer in the room. When I booked the hotel, there was no information regarding the breakfast was not included, and it was not mentioned to us that breakfast is extra when we check-in. When we check-out, we have to pay Euro25.00 for very bad breakfast (6 small cold breads,a few jams, one coffee, one chocolate drink, some fruit cocktail from can, and no breakfast meat). A worst hotel that I ever stayed.
