Good value for money hotel, well located to the town centre and to tram and bus services. The room I had was very small and plain but adequate for a few nights. The bed was rather hard and small and there was some street noise which did detract from the quality of the overall experience. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for the price and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for a long stay and think it might be unbearably hot in the small single rooms in mid summer, I had a fan but no air conditioning. But for a short weekend break in Autumn or Spring it is hard to to be too critical given that we only paid 51 Euros a night

My room was on a quiet street, but the area is quite busy. The people of the hotel is frindly welcoming, the spaciousness of the rooms is very limited. It did not matter for me as I have spent very few hours in the rooms but it could have been an issue for a longer stay or bad weather conditions.

Very close to everything. The public parking lot is right by the hotel on the other side of the street and very convenient and it costs 9 euros per 24 hours. Rooms are very small but I didn't expect otherwise in a big city. Overall a very convenient hotel.

The rooms are small but given the price and location this wasn't surprising. The main light in one of our rooms didn't work. Despite repeated requests for this to be fixed each morning and evening (we stayed three nights) nothing was done about it - that was unimpressive! Breakfast was quite expensive for what it was. Overall, though, it's clean and the staff were friendly and the location really is nice and central.

Rooms with air conditioning, which the Web page said were "available upon request," actually cost 82 Euros per night, not the 69 Euros that Venere indicated I'd be paying. And the air conditioning was essential not so much because of the heat, but because of the street noise -- which both prohibited sleeping with the windows open and required the sound of the air conditioner's fan to mask it. Delightful woman at the reception desk. Great location.

Very clean, excellent staff, excellent location within walking distance of many cafes and attractions. Rooms are a bit small, but not unusually so. Tip: easy bus ride from the Strasbourg train station, don't take a taxi.

Perfectly situated for our particular purposes (visiting our son who was studying at Strasbourg University), this traditional style hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and most of the sights. Our room was not very big but it was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. Altogether, an excellent stay.

Our stay was satisfactory in every respect - a small friendly hotel ideally situated to explore the medieval delights of Strasbourg - a short walk over the river bridge to the cathedral and from there to Petite France. Excellent breakfasts and attentive service. Hotel used by business people and tourists - nice mix.

This hotel is conveniently located just across the river and very near to the downtown historical area and boat tour platform. My room was a small single but perfectly adequate for my needs, and very clean and comfortable. The staff spoke english and was especially helpful to me during my stay. The morning breakfast buffet was nicely presented and worth the additional cost.

Stayed there for a week in late spring. A charming hotel. Ideally located to reach the city center. Kind and helpful reception. Surroundings with many small and good restaurants. Breakfast OK for being in France. Would definitley recommend it

The breakfast was very good, but the housekeeper did not replenish food at the buffet as it was depleted. This is a two star hotel and I believe it was a very good value for the price. The location, within a block of the river and close to the old town center, was very nice, but the instructions to get there on the websight(Venere)could have been more complete (The #10 bus from the train station!)

Unfortunately, very noisy at night if your room is located on the main road (night clubs closing?). Otherwise perfect if you want to stay near the center.

A lovely hotel, well located within easy walking distance to the main tourist areas of Strasbourg. The reception staff speak english and they were helpful. The public parking is right across the street. We stayed in this hotel 2 nights. It was our 2nd visit to a truly beautiful city.

Positiv: umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet in schönem Raum / Negativ: Bettgestelle alt und quietschend, schweres Bettzeug und wenig atmungsaktive Matratzen, deshalb heiß und schwitzanfällig!

Nice little hotel, convenient location, great breakfast buffet, very friendly staff. a bit pricey, but Strasbourg isn't cheap. would go back, though wouldn't consider it an option if you travel with young children (the room would be too small, and the hotel being small couldn't offer a wide variety of room sizes).

This hotel was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were great. They had good beds and a spacious bathroom. Also you could see the river from your room so the view was beautiful and everything is in easy walking distance from the hotel.

This is a very nice, tasteful, small hotel. It's just across the many bridges to the center of Strasbourg. Yet,it's away from the crowd and the noise. We had a pleasant stay here.

I stayed in a single. It's the only time I've ever experienced a true single bed in a hotel! The hotel is charming and the staff gracious and helpful. The room was noisy because it was right next to the lift, but otherwise all was well.

Price different from advertisement (lower) anyway high for low-season, 2 star hotel. Hotel in a nice building and at walking distance from downtown, although it was a weekday, not much noise in the morning. A bit difficult the access to parking for a bigger car (max 1.8m width), only 3 places available. Corridors to rooms pretty narrow for who has large suitcases. Staff very friendly. Bathrooms renewed.

Our experience in Strasbourg was greatly enhanced by Aux Trois Roses - especially the help one lovely clerk provided in making dinner reservations at the perfect place for us. The only drawback was parking - for a large van it was very hard to find!

This hotel was perfectly situated for ease of arriving at and departing. Parking provided which was very welcome. The hotel staff were very welcoming and answered any queries we had. breakfast was value for money. The hotel was perfectly situated for walking to see all the sights and we would stay here again. We only stayed two nights, but would recommend it to anyone for either a short stop over or even a longer stay. All in all a very good experience it met all our requirements.

Overall a lovely hotel VERY near the center of Strausbourg and its famous Cathedral. The rooms were clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The only hick-up was with parking. We were told we had it and when we arrived we were told they had (3) spaces and they were taken. Plus, the public lot across the street had mysteriously closed that day. Parking was a challenge. ALL else was great.

Heart of town is close to thye hotel, but the surrounding area of hotel is very quiet through the night. Parking is just behind the hotel (parking entrance road is very tight, be careful with your own vehicle size), just only the few steps from hotel entrance so very easy to access. Room is tight, but to think about the price, well balanced. I recommend this hotel for your Strasbourg stay.
