Britannia Hotel Stockport is a modern hotel situated in Offerton, a quiet residential district close to Stockport's bustling town centre, with its wide range of shops and entertainment.
The spacious lounge and bar areas complement the carvery restaurant and there is also an attractive leisure centre with pool. There are large and varied conference and banqueting facilities making this a popular wedding venue.
Moreover, there is free Wi-Fi Internet access available to guests in the public areas of the hotel.
The M60 ring-road is only a few minutes by car from the hotel and makes travel to Manchester, the Trafford Centre and the Lowry Centre quick and easy.

Noisy room with tiny window as the room was like a boiler house. Temperature control was the biggest problem

When I entered the bedroom, there was water in the bathroom. The next morning, I uderstood why when upstairs they had a shower : it started raining in the bathroom. I told them at reception but they did not make any commercial effort.

This was the worst stay in a hotel I ever had. The receptionist looked very disgusting to give you a warm welcome and my room looked the same and was not cleaned up properly, the bed was uncomfortable and I was really happy when the night was over and I could leave that hotel. It was a pity, because I booked it in advance and could have looked for a really nice hotel instead. Never again Britannia Hotel!

The superbly designed Spindles Health & Leisure Club boasts the most up to date equipment and facilities including gymnasium, heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, solarium, changing rooms and bar area for drinks and light snacks.
It is the hotel's policy that all children aged 2-16 years old who are visiting our Spindles Health & Leisure Club should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Open to children 2-16 years: Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m: Saturday to Sunday 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
