This hotel was very good value as myself and a friend shared a twin room for the same price as most of the hostels we looked at. The free sauna was an added bonus (only with certain rooms apparently) and the included breakfast was really nice - especially the meatballs! The staff were very helpful and all very welcoming and kind. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Super stay, the best hotel, which I attended. Everything clean. Breakfast very rich. Only little problem was comunication between venere and hotel. I reservated double room, but in the hotel they had reservation of single room... But after 20 minutes (and gratis cafee in the bar) was double room for us ready ! Super personal !

Standard room with large double bed- mattress was more like a thick topper on a board. Tv, hair dryer, coffee maker and tea. Bathroom was roomy, but needed updated. There was quite a bit of mildew in the shower. The breakfast was a fantastic buffet and there is a full bar for the evening. We were there during a holiday and were unable to enjoy any of the immediate surroundings as all businesses were closed. The hotel is short walk to the metro (one stop from T-centralen) or a 10-15 minute walk to the water. I would rate the hotel as 3 stars and cannot point out anything great or bad in particular. We would stay again- well worth the price.

We have been about one week in the Hotel. The our stay in this Hotel was very good. It is in high residential area and it is very near to centrum (Gamla Stan, to Central station and to Underground station. For us the Mornington is an excellent Hotel.

Extremely noisy until 4AM even iwht the wondows closed. The location is directly over the main party street in Gothenburg. There was no air conditioning so had to make a choice between being comfortable with teh windows opne and it being REALLY loud or beign hot with it being loud. Very dark: lobby, corridors, breakfast room. Nice Front desk staff & great shower but would never stay there again. NOTE: complete opposite experience at Stockholm Morningstar which was wonderful.

We visited Stockholm for 4 days and were quite satisfied with the "Mornington". It is no more partner of "Best Western", so the taxi-driver did not know the "Best Western Mornington" and was at first irritated, but this was the only "problem" we had, and for Stockholm, we felt the relation of price to quality was okay.

this was my first time there , the staff were friendly , the hotel was well siutuated near the city centre and the rooms were very clean, my only problem was i found the rooms quiet small for a ****star hotel, i would stay there again
