Good hotel, great location. friendly staff. clean. room was VERY warm with no air con. good breakfast.

Splendid breakfast buffet, worth the stay, ideal location at less than 100 m of subway station "Gamla Stan", room a bit small, and in general friendly personnel.

Good location for Old Town and major sites. Arrived at midnight, room ready,staff happy and helpful. Rooms a little small. Ok for sleeping, out all day. Breakfast good selection and well presented. Would stay again

Everything was wonderful,hotel was easy to find, welcoming and staff very helpful and friendly. breakfast was amazing my husband will be returning possibly just for that! Stockholm was great although very expensive i wouldnt hesitate booking this hotel again when budget permits.

Strategy of the hotel is to overbook and to send the guests to Rica Hotel downtown. Even a reservation months ahaed does not help

A plus: the hotel met all requirements, friendly stuff, cosy and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, located in old city... a minus: some rooms seems to have very small wardrobe and we guess that in wintertimes one could get problems with stowing clothes

Apart from the room and the receptionist, the location was perfect and the breakfast was lovely. The receptionist, whilst polite was not very welcoming. She told my colleague that her room was not ready - she could put her into a smaller room but if she waited she would have a bigger room. In the mean time, as I opened my door, I was surprised to find that the room i had been put in was, what looked like, the old box room. While my colleagues got 2 big rooms, I didn't even have room to unpack. I understand and appreciate that 3 single rooms were booked but it is unfair to give 2 out of the 3 guests big rooms. It was a Sunday and a Monday night and so I asked the receptionist if it would be possible to move to a bigger room and she immediately said no. I was very surprised that all the rooms could be booked out as I only saw a few people during our stay. I had been working very hard for the previous 4 days and was looking forward to my holiday. Very poor people skills in my book - after 10 years working in the hospitality business I would never treat anyone like that. But i will not be returning, nor recommending your hotel to anyone else.

Best breakfast on trip-good location ( Gamla Stan )-we'd go back. Great restaurants in old town.

Nice staff but in very noisy area especially when the bars close at 0300. Rooms clean but very small. Good breakfast

Stockholm is very expansive, no doubt about that ! But every Euro paid for our stay at the RICA GAMLA STAN got full money-value back. A really great experience !! The breakfast is also very special :-) Thanks - we will come back.
