Train Station is right beside hotel and tons of shopping nearby. Most of the city center is within walking distance.

Me and my wife arrived on Wednesday, June 3'rd at about 16:00 after a long ride on a bus from Norway, with reservation confirmation No. HIR6762107 made on May 5'th 2009. Unfortunately, there was no evidence at the hotel reception to my reservation. The lady in charge was very polite and called your office in England after finding your phone number on the internet. She said that they are fully booked, but if she has a confirmation, she has to give me a room. The man who answered her on the phone promised to send a fax with the confirmation within minutes, but the fax did not arrive until 18:30, when she decided to accept the printed reservation I had, and to give us a room.I have no idea when and if the fax arrived. This two and a half hours of waiting in the lobby instead of touring the beautiful city of Stockholm, was a significant disappointment for us since we had very little free time attending a dental convention starting early next morning. Needless to say that by the time we received the room we missed our friends that could not wait for us and went to tour the city without us, so we had to do it late and alone...

How to reach Hotel Nordic Light
By car
From the South (E4 / E20): follow the signs towards E4 North. After the tunnel, follow the signs towards Fridhemsplan. Once there, turn left onto St. Eriksgatan. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right onto Fleminggatan. Continue all the way to the end of the street, and turn left into Kungsgatan, on the bridge over the water and over the train tracks. At the next traffic lights at the intersection of Kungsgatan / Vasagatan, turn right onto Vasagatan. The Nordic Light Hotel is located on the right hand side. Park in Vasagatan, just outside the hotel. Leave your car keys at the reception and the hotel's valet service will park your car in the garage.
From the North (E4 / E18): follow the signs towards Södermalm. Turn off towards Kungsholmen. Turn left onto Kungsgatan and cross the bridge over the train tracks. Then follow the above directions.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. CANCELLATION POLICY

Guests can cancel their reservation without paying penalty before 6 p.m. the day
of arrival.
In case of No show or Late Cancellations a penalty of one night will be charged
on your credit card.
