The Mälardrottningen is a unique hotel in Stockholm, housed in a ship which is moored at a marina in the old town of Stockholm. Grona Lund and Kungliga Djurgarden are only 2 km away.
This historic ship was constructed in 1924 and has been carefully restored with the charm and ambience that only mahogany and shiny brass can inspire.

Overall it was an ok-Experience. Breakfast was excellent, Location of Ship was also excellent. Internet didn´t work for the whole Stay (5 days), which gave a bad taste on our Vacation! Seemed that there was no engagegemt to fix it.

rooms are nice but very small,good for weekend,not for a longer stay.Eastern the restaurant was closed, also the bar, but there are enough restaurants in the surrounding (and "seven eleven" for buying some drinks for the quiet and sunny deck on mälardrottningen )

Staying on this ship for a night is OK if your looking for novelty but our cabin was claustrophobic and noisy. As a floating hotel it was looking a little worn and the cleaning particularly in public areas could be improved. With the exception of reception the mainly Asian staff looked overworked and avoided engaging with the customers. Breakfast was OK but some things ran out and were not replenished whilst others were taken away before the indicated finishing time.
