Nice Location and great view from my window. However, my room did not have en suite bathroom and that probably applied to several in my passage because the heavy doors were slamming from about 7.30 (6.30 UK time)and therefore a sleep-in was impossible.

I would recommend doing some basic things to make the rooms more welcoming. such as, art on the walls, cups and hairdryers in the rooms, rugs on the ground, simple things that make a world of difference.

Many thanks, the hotel is very well situated near the old town and well connected to the airport and the sightseeings; enough comfortible not only for one night; staff is full of competence; only problem does the noise in the alley along the hotel in the night. I will suggest your hotel to my friends with pleasure. Good luck.

Great location near pubs and restaurant. The rooms are simple, but classic and traditional atmosphere pleased me. Excellent location if you need to get on board to a ferry in the morning.

I stayed at this hotel in the first week of September 2009 and this hotel is in a pefect location. Most of the tourist arractions were within walking distance of the hotel like "Hop On Hop Off" bus tour of the city, the Old Town Gamla stan)and the boat tour "Under the Bridges". Shopping and restaurants were also within walking distance. This hotel is very unique and it has charm, charisma and a lot of history as the front house was built in 1647. Although the rooms are small, they were very clean and very reasonably priced. The hotel offered a wonderful complimentary breakfast and all staff was extremely friendly and also very helpful. They were also all fluent in the English language. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Anno is very noise, it´s placed in one of the best address in the city, and near to everywhere, but inside is very poor, small and unconfortable. If it´s for a couple days is right, but more is too much, you are only paying the address.

We had a very pleasant stay at his hotel The staff were frinedly and helpful. The only fault really was the bar was closed in the evenings and as I was traveling with a baby it would have been nice to have a drink in the hotel bar where I could relax with my baby. I also had to bring my own kettle for making baby's bottles. Howevwer, I liked the hotel and would recommend to friends.

This hotel is very reasonably priced when you take its location into account. Rooms are clean and breakfast is excellent. On the down side, you have to use the stairs (can be annoying for some people) and rooms facing north can be quite noisy at night.

Chose a room without en suite bathroom (due to price), but shared bathroom was only a few feet away across landing. everything clean and great location, right next to Gondolen viewing platform and only a few minutes walk to palace. fantastic breakfast bar with good selection of fresh produce. would stay again.

The week long stay at Anno was all in all nice, providing just what I needed of services- which were well delivered I must say. Economy price during week days was a bit higher than expected, but compared to the alternatives in Stockholm it is still alright I suppose. The internet facility in the reception area could have better.

Too much noise from the street and in the hotel due to the shutting of the doors. Curtains only, so that light is disturbing in the morning (August).Curtains in bad state. Very good sweedish breakfast and very clean rooms and sanitories.Very good location in tne city.

The rooms a very small, nothing like it appears in the pictures, and not very clean. The hotel is very old and totally overprice. The worst thing is the shared toilets, that was very dirty and disgusting. I asked in reception if they could do something about the toilets, because I had just check in and I couldnt even use it, so they asnwered that there was nothing that they could do about it, because they just clean it once a day. I explained that it was impossible to use it, that it was one unusuall situation because it was totally disgusting, and the didnt do anything at all. The second day, in the middle of the day, the same thing happened, and in conclusion, they don´t pay attation on their guests and they don´t clean the hotel the often that they should. The breakfast is nothing too much, and they have a lot of stairs without a lift.

I took hours to reach this Hotel, imagine if Stockholm would be a big city. Not accessible by taxi or car, just by tube. The rooms are extremely expensive for what the offer. This hotel is just a cheap hotel (not in price) close to the main trainstation (not that close). The room photographs are far distant of what the Hotel offers.

The personals were very helpful. The location was excellent, not far from the center and next to the subway station but at the price of quietness. The shared toilets should be renewed. The room and breakfast area were clean and the breakfast buffet was great so the stained carpet on the corridor could be overlooked.

The staff in the hotel are excellent. The location of the hotel is superb and it is very interesting old building that has been tastefully updated. However, the bedrooms are small and the shared toilets, even smaller!! The bedroom walls are paper thin, so I felt sorry for the guests in the next rooms having to put up with our snoring!! Buffet breakfast is absolutely superb, with a massive choice of food. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to anybody, just take some earplugs if you're a light sleeper!!

Excellent location (5minutes from old town), very nice breakfast, rooms are a little like students rooms but for this price, it' unbeatable. Showers are clean. Easy to find due to the big neon lights located on top of the building. It was a nice stay :)

Good for younger people/couples with spacious rooms and good location. Both Venere and hotel Anno 1647 should state more clearly though, that some of the rooms don't have an ensuite. To share bathrooms for a price well over 100 euro's is quite extravagant.

Hotel Anno is an excellent and friendly hotel, yes a little expensive for what you get but that is the case all over Stockholm so on that front good value for money. Offers excellent breakfast with a chic modern setting. Location is very good and not noisy. Friendly, helpful staff make it a welcoming hotel and one worth recommending.

I had a single room on the first floor with toilet and shower in the hallway, but it works very well. Good breakfast. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The building might look a little bit old fashioned for someone. But it's a part of the ANNO 1647 hotel's history. Fantastic location and area. Tubestation for 5 minutes walk, Old Town 10 min.

Being located in an old building, the hotel was quite charming and the employees extremely helpful and kind. I would have wished a bit more quietness both within and without the hotel. Breakfast was all one could wish for - everything in abundance.

Hotels in Stockholm seem to be extremely expensive. Compared to that this was a decent place to stay for two nights. Good location, very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast! We had a room with shared bathroom and had no problems with that. Our room was very tidy but quite small and modest, not so beautifully furnished as those presented in the web pages here.

Bedroom was ok, toilets were clean and shower ok. very good breakfast! 100euro for one B&B night in economy room (no ensuite) is not a cheap rate, but considering the good location is fair.
