The structure is a lovely alp building and is equipped with a TV room, a bar a restaurant and your children will enjoy themselves in a children's playground outside.

Ortisei St. Ulrich, with the marvellous mountainous scenery of the Dolomites is a popular skiing region in the winter but also very attractive during the summertime. The mountains are ideal for excursions and tours and you will also find a lot of walking paths.

It was a little bit difficult to locate but once there we had a very nice stay. The half board meal was wonderful. The room in the new additon was very spacious with a pleasant view.

We stayed at the Hotel Digon for two nights and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the service was excellent. Daniel and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The town of Ortisei was charming and the hiking/views in the Alpe de Siusi were amazing! We definitely plan on coming back and will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We booked our room at Hotel Digon with the intent for my husband to ski three days and to find a babysitter for our 10 month old so I could accompany him 1 day. What we experienced was so much more! Mr. Daniel arranged the babysitter for us which was amazing, but the food was more amazing than I could have imagined. The food alone would bring us back and is easily accompanied by the room cleanliness, friendly staff and other guests, as well as how easy it is to get to and from the ski lifts without actually staying next to them. We had an amazing time and look forward to going back!

This was a wonderful find. I've never been to the Dolomites before and the area was gorgeous. I want to return when the flowers are in bloom. The family run Digon was perfect for exploring the Val Gardena. The room I had was large with a sitting area and balcony with views of Ortisei. The hotel is on 2 floors with the rooms on the second level up a staircase. The dining area is beautifully decorated and the meals are very good. I ate dinner there every night and was impressed with the food presented. The dinner menu is available at breakfast time so you can let them know if you plan to eat in at night. The cost of the evening meal was extremely reasonable. The hotel is located out of town about 1 KM. You could walk easily to the town center but parking was easy to find. The family was available for questions and gave very helpful information for the area.

Great location just outside of town, within a short walk. Great hiking trails nearby. The owners are very charming and friendly. The food and service was impecable. A very enjoyable stay for our 4 days.

This is a delightful little hotel- family run, and very friendly and accomodating. We would definately stay again. Great value, well appointed rooms. We were not there enough time!

How to reach Hotel Digon

By car
From Austria: take the Drautal-Bundesstraße B100/E66 from Lienz to Innichen (border Austria/Italy) and follow the signs Bruneck and Corvara afterwards, until reaching St. Ulrich. From Innsbruck take the highway Brennerautobahn A13, direction Brixen and Klausen afterwards, until reaching St. Ulrich.
From Italy: you have to proceed on the highway A22 direction Brenner/Bozen, take the exit Bozen Nord and the motorway SS12 towards Blumau and Kastelruth afterwards until reaching St. Ulrich.

By train
The train goes from Lienz to Innichen, where you have to change, then to Franzensfeste and after another change you will reach Klausen, about 19 km away from St. Ulrich.
The train from Innsbruck goes to the Brenner. There you have to take the train to Klausen.
Coming from Italy you have to go to Bozen and take the train to Klausen.

If cancellation is done less than 20 days prior to arrival we will charge the client for 40% of the total amount, 10 days prior to arrival 60%, from 10 days pior to arrival till no-show 80% of the total amount.
