We enjoyed our stay at the Bliss....not too far from Saint Tropez...our destination. Price varied from first day to second day. The restaurant near the hotel was excellent. Thanks a lot for having us.

We stayed for two nights and used it as a base to discover the coastline from St Tropez to Cannes and Nice and it was perfect for this. The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable and breakfast was adequate. Cogolin is a busy little town with lots of shops and the free public car park is adjacent to the police station.

Bad position. Bad welcoming.Small rooms. Expensive hotel for position. Has no parking, but uses parking near the hotel. The hotel told us to park the car in a parking lot near the hotel and found damage on our car made by vandals. The cars were damaged only our (Italian) Italians do not go in this hotel, which does not ensure a safe stay

We arrived at 9:40 on a saturday (confirmation said office was open until 10pm). There was no one to check us in - numerous calls and waiting followed. When staff member eventually arrived they claimed that they had lost reservation. On check out there was no one on the desk and signficant wait.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado y bastante cerca de saint tropez y las principales playas. Decorado con muy buen gusto y muy limpio. El unico problema es que las habitaciones no están muy bien insonorizadas y se oye todo!

Very clean and well designed hotel near the main square of village. Easy drive to Saint Tropez and beaches of Pampelonne. "Comfort" class room with small windows took away some charm. No mini bar in room and hotel only had 1 wine bottle opener!

Very seedy hotel, rooms were merely utilitarian and nothing else. Wouldn't recommend any more than a one night stay here if you really need to. If staying in Cogolin to travel into St Tropez, would recommend travelling a little bit further into Nice and using that as a base instead.

The hotel is right in the middle of Cogolin (not Saint Tropez but close enough), which is a very small, medieval village with beauty in its own right. The hotel has recently been refurbished and I can tell they paid a lot of attention to make the rooms as comfortable as possible. Everything was very clean and nice in the room. The breakfast was good enough. I loved walking around town in the middle of the night. There are some beautiful narrow streets on a nearby hill, very french.

My partner and I were bitten by bed-bugs on the first night, and he had a severe reaction and had to be treated in hospital. The staff were non-plussed, frankly, and although there was a definite smell of bug spray in the room on arrival, they claimed it was the first they had heard of it. NON-SENSE. We were the moved to another room, and then bitten again the following night. My friend traveling with us was also bitten on his last night. The staff were rude and the owner/manager refused to give us a refund or discount as he claimed it was already a discounted rate off the internet, i.e. this VERY website. GIVE THE BLISS A MISS - it was the worst travel experience of my life and frankly put an end to my fledgeling relationship. So thank you very much Hotel Bliss! What was supposed to be a romantic holiday was a nightmare.

The hotel was perfect for what I was looking for, something reasonable priced near st tropez. Hotel Bliss is in Cogolin, which is a 5 or ten minute scooter ride from St Tropez, and we definately had a good time renting and riding the scooter. there are a number of good restaurants in the area, in St. Tropez it is easier to stumble on a nicer, more expensive restaurant, but Cogolin isnt bad if you miss the bus and dont want to pay for a cab. There are a number of small towns/cities that are worth exploring in the area that are less than 20 minutes from Cogolin. All in all, we didnt spend that much time in Hotel Bliss but when we did, we found it pleasant.

Cogolin was a charming town only a 15-20 min drive away from St. Tropez. The Bliss is a great place to stay if you do not have kids. It is clean and safe, however, The rooms are not sound proof and you can hear the traffic go by from the road and hear people in the hallways. However, it is an inexpensive way to visit the coast at a fraction of the price you willl pay to stay in St. Tropez You will need a rental car to get around to St. Tropez, but in doing so you will be able to visit all the nooks and crannies of the costal countryside and visit the many Vinyards. I recomend Donaine de la Giscle. The Owner spoke english and gave a great tour with superb wine tasting and affordable bottles for sale. St. Tropez is obsurdly expensive and by staying on the outskirts in a nearby quaint village you save money and get the authentic feel of a small french friendly village with out the tourist traps one will find in St. Tropez.
