The Northern Lights Hotel fully met our expetations. It is a very nice, quite and familiar hotel well located in the center of S.Peterburg, 5 minutes walk to all the main city attractions. The staff is always very proactive to every guest request; very kind and prepared. I wormly suggest this hotel to all the people who prefere comfort, quitness and quality standards to the formalities of famous and expensive hotels

My wife and i loved this place and will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. The location is just steps away from the major tourist sites and is in a quiet location. the front desk was VERY nice and accommodating. The rooms and public areas were very clean. The front desk also spoke great English. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

We loved this tiny gem of a place. It's 5 mins walk from St.Isaacs in one direction and the Yusupov Palace the other. Lovely breakfast brought to your room. Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Excellent rooms - very reasonably priced. (We had an en-suite but there are a couple with shared bathroom, even cheaper)! Highly recommended. Note though, there are stairs to climb...

No elevator, 3 flights up a dark stairwell. Building is in disrepair but the hotel suites themselves are nice, clean & good value for money. 12-15 min walk to nearest metro, but good location for the price, just next to St. Issac's Cathedral. Bathwater is yellow, but Moscow was the same. The staff are young students who speak English, friendly & helpful. It's worth it to get the suite - very nice comfortable room. No dining room, they serve you bfast in the room. We found only one convenience store nearby, but there are kiosks around the stations as well.
