Problems checking in as staff were occupied dealing with awkward customers so we were kept waiting for some time. On the other hand my father-in-law left his sweater behind and we telephoned from the station. They located it in the restaurant and brought it down to the station for us.

Hotel as everything else in St Moritz is expensive. However the hotel has wonderful welcoming atmosphere and staff. Loved the decor, a lot of wood but not too rustic. Beautiful bathroom. Terrific restaurant, beautifully freshley prepared food and the best of breakfasts. Don't miss their bowls of yogurt and croissants that melt in your mouth. Hotel is situated in the main square, with the funicular just across the road. The outside appearance of the hotel belies how excellent the hotel is.

How to reach Hotel Crystal
By car
From Zurich, take the motorway, following the Chur direction. Proceed until Thusis Süd. Follow signs to S.Moritz, and overtake Tiefencastel. Proceed, following the Julierpass direction. Arrive in Silvaplana, and follow signs to St. Moritz. At the crossroads, follow the Champfér indications. Arrive in the centre of St. Moritz. Take the second exit, following the Saint Moritz centre direction.
