Hotel Clarici - Spoleto

Clarici in Spoleto is a very good Hotel, located near historic center and offer excellent hospitality. It has a private parking space The rooms are confortables and the Staff is very kind and professional.

I found the staff at Hotel very welcoming and helpfull and the location in Spoleto was brilliant, I would whole heartedly recomend this hotel. Thank-you very much!

The hotel was fine, clean and the staff were helpful. The location for us was a negative as it was a bit of a hike to the centre for a six month pregnant lady!

Located just 200 meters outside the entrance to the walled city. Good views of the Papal Fortress and old medieval Spoleto from terrace. Limited parking spaces so make sure to reserve a spot when making reservations. Well situated to explore Umbria. 30 minutes from Assisi, a must see.

Ottimo hotel in buona posizione perché non lontano dalla stazione e alle porte del centro storico chiuso al traffico privato. Una colazione eccellente benché il cappuccino non fosse certo dei migliori.

The hotel is convenient for those using public transportation; the hotel is a 10-15 minute walk (or a 5-minute bus ride)from the train station, and many regional buses stop in the square right in front of the hotel. My room had a big bed for a single room, which made the standard-sized room seem just a bit small. The bathroom was spacious, and even had a bathtub. I always use earplugs when I travel, so if there was noise from the street, I didn't hear it. Everything was clean, and the price was reasonable.

We stayed at Clarici as a jump off point for the dash to Fiumicino - it was a top choice!! Firstly, it was an ideal morning drive down to Rome. Better though, was that it is a fantastically central place to stay in Umbria. Clarici is right on the edge of Spoleto and it is 1km (if that) from the entrance to the freeway which takes you everywhere. Parking was 5 euros but worth it. Our room had a great view of town. Thirdly, the staff were FANTASTIC. We had to get up early (for afore mentioned trip) and they got up to give us breakfast at 7am and helped us on our way. If you have an extra day in Umbria (after you see Assisi and Perugia), you MUST drive up to Leonessa from Spoleto. It only takes a 1/2 day but the towns are sensational (they crap all over Tuscany). Oh...and there was free internet (in the hotel lobby). There was also a great little mini market across the road for drinks and snacks. Clarici was fantastic and we would recommend staying here as a base for seeing Umbria.

We stayed for 1 week in September and had an excellent time. The staff were wonderfully helpful and even took our luggage to the station, it was a wonderful stay. thank you!!!!!!

Picture on web site very misleading.Gave the impression the hotel was outside Spoleto not adjacent one of the main piazzas.Bathroom not clean and had a very musty smell.Air conditioner was not working.Breakfast was very limited compared to other 3 star hotels we had stayed at.

A very well located hotel just at the gates of the town's main entrance. Rooms and veranda area not as attractive as shown on map but the centrality AND parking make this an ideal location for a quick stop

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Would definitely stay here again in Spoleto.

The hotel has a good position for visiting Spoleto as well as for trips to the surroundings also for those travelling without car as it is near to the city centre and not far from the train station. Several busses stop in front of the house. The staff is very friendly and helpful. At least some of the rooms have a view of Spoleto castle. Breakfast is "italian style" but grocery, bakery, bars and restaurants are very near.
