About Hotel Cavaliere Palace

hotel lobby Hotel Cavaliere Palace hotel lobby Excellent four-star hotel in the heart of the old city. A patrician mansion built in 1600, adorned with splendid frescos, some dating back to the 17th century.

The edifice was initially property of the family of Cardinal Accoramboni of the Valnerina, and later went to the Parenzi family and then to the family of Benedetto Castori.

The building was renovated in 1933 by architet Natale Benedetti and is now being refurbished to host the "CAVALIERE PALACE HOTEL" in full respect for the existing layout and the historic charm of the locale.

For the price of this hotel WiFi service should have been free. We paid 5 euros for 3 hours of access time. We stayed in several other hotels in the area that were half the price and the WiFi was free. Also, the breakfast choices should have included a sugar-free choice of some kind. Almost everything on offer was white flour/sugar laden. The service however was excellent.

A wonderful, stylish hotel located in the old center of Spoleto. I had a beautiful room with acomfortable bed, very quiet, hearing the church bells ring every hour, which added beautifully to the ambience. Very friendly staff. A great place for the price! I would love to go back to Spoleto and Hotel Cavaliere Palace,

I justify the general rate by the size of the room (including bathroom) which was not in adequacy with the price and the classification of the hotel. The rest was pretty good, including the breakfast and the restaurant

We had a wonderful stay at the Cavaliere Palace Hotel. We ate at the restaurant which was marvelous. The hotel has just been renovated and is beautiful. The breakfast room and inside dining room have frescos on the ceiling which have been restored. The furniture and draperies are lovely. Mr Cavaliere and his daughter who runs the hotel are excellent hosts. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There was always someone at the desk who spoke English since our Italian is not great. Our only problem was in getting to the Hotel the first time. Since it is in the old town area it is on a one way street that appears to be only for pedestrian traffic. However, you can drive in to drop off luggage and or pick up people or luggage. We initially walked in to find out how to get to the hotel. We look forward to returning again to this lovely hotel and wonderful staff.
