CHECK AVAILABILITY
Located in the old town centre of Spello, one of the most charming medieval towns in Umbria, the hotel Palazzo Bocci is the place where history, traditions and art coexist along with new technologies, thanks to the well-balanced restoration work, with its design of exclusive rooms, both simple and elegant, for a stay with a touch of the past.

Palazzo Bocci, which opened as a hotel in 1992, has paintings by Benvenuto Crispoldi and an architectural style that is enlivened by in-between floors, split-levels and niches. In close proximity to the hotel, guests will find some important churches, such as Sant'Andrea and Santa Maria Maggiore, the latter boasting valuable masterpieces by Pinturicchio.

This 17th-century building offers its guests spaces and rooms that evoke an atmosphere of rare beauty, such as the fountain at the entrance, the hanging garden with two age-old palm trees, the spectacular Hall of Frescoes, the guest rooms, the luxurious suites, and views and hidden corners that the hotel Palazzo Bocci preserves like a precious treasure.

Spello is a lovely little town full of flowers in June for a competition. Hotel Bocci is very spacious with a large pulic lounge area painted with murals. There is also a beautiful terrace "roof" garden inside the hotel. Wide choice of excellent restaurants nearby.

We had a lovely stay in beautiful Spello at this great hotel. Our room was nice, but sloping low ceiling made the room seem small when in fact it was quite large. Location in Spello was great, but get a taxi to hotel with your luggage from train station(up a steep hill) Breakfast was fantastic and the reception staff were very helpful.

The setting for the breakfast made it the most relaxing we had on our entire vacation. The only drawback to our stay was the presence of a strange and unpleasant odor in our room. I think it may have been coming from the air conditioning unit, but am not certain.

Stay in the palace - feel like royalty. Fabulous surroundings and rooms and great service. Eat at Porto Venere restaurant nearby... incredible meals prepared with love. Can't say enough good about this place.

I booked a junior suite and was lucky to get the only room with a terrace, which overlooked the valley.....a fabulous view. The hotel is a converted building, so all of the rooms are configured slightly differently. The suite had a small sitting room with one upholstered chair, a desk, and a desk chair. This room opened onto the terrace, which had a small table and two chairs on a brick terrace. The bathroom was very roomy with a jacuzzi tub, and the bedroom was more than adequate with a large wardrobe, a small TV, and a mini-fridge. Francis and Greta at the front desk were very friendly and accomodating, and were helpful with restaurant recommendations, wine glasses, etc. The hotel includes free parking in a public lot across the street; the hotel staff provides a parking pass to display in the windshield. Breakfast is very abundant, with fresh and canned fruits, yogurt, homemade cakes and pastries, sliced meats and cheeses, as well as cappucino, espresso, tea, etc.

THe location was brilliant, the service provided by reception was excellent and the room was amongst the best we had stayed in. The only drawback was that, in March, there is a lcak of restaurants at which to eat. This is not the fault oif the Hotel. We will be taking small tiour groups to stay there based on our experiences

A charming hotel in a wonderful little city. There are many nice restaurants and walking about is a pleasure unto itself. Once tourists leave for the day, it is heavenly in Spello!

The hotel was wonderful, something right out of the past. The hotel staff were very friendly and had advice on where to eat. Right across the street was the hotel's restaurant and about four doors away was a wonderful wine bar that provided a wine tasting experience that was an experience not to miss.
