This was our 4th visit to Borgo Pretale and while we love it dearly - the setting, the restaurant, the Tuscan countryside - the rooms and facilities really need updating. The bathrooms are old, the hairdriers are weak, the rooms aren't very comfortable, the sunbeds are very basic and if we didn't have sentimental memories we probably wouldn't bother to go there any more.

We loved Borgo Pretale. The only complaint is that they did not present the prices for dinner on the menu, or whether you needed to buy price fixe or if you could order ala carte for dinner.
