This hotel is situated on a busy corner and my room was noisy, despite the web site description. It is a good 500m from the station but is on a bus route (not very reliable) to the centre of Sorrento, or a 25min walk. Breakfast was fine. A few restaurants and bars in St Agnello itself, but most people will want to go to Sorrento centre. Hotel is used by tour groups.

- no access to internet as mentionned - quite noisy up to about 1:30 in the morning (scooters) - lucky to have parking in reserved area along public street - very nice area and view, however

I was very happy with this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly well above and beyond the call of duty. A very pleasant situation and near to a number of good and reasonably priced restaurants. I used it as a base from which to explore Pompeii and Herculaneum and as it's quite close to the Circumvesuviana station, this worked pretty well. My room was spacious, quiet and clean with a balcony from which there was a nice view. No complaints!

How to reach Hotel Villa Margherita

By car
From A3 Napoli - Salerno motorway, exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Then merge onto the S.S. 145 national road to Sorrento and exit at Sant'Agnello. Overtake Vico Equense, Meta and Piano di Sorrento. The reach Sant'Agnello. Just before Piazza del Municipio square, turn right into Viale dei Pini, then proceed on Corso Crawford for another 200 meters.

By train
From Stazione Centrale or Porta Garibaldi train stations, take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento and get off at Sant'Agnello stop. Villa Margherita hotel is 0.3 miles/500 metres ahead.

By airplane
From Naples Capodichino airport take the Curreri bus service, direction Sorrento-Penisola Sorrentina, and get off at the Sant'Agnello/piazza del Municipio stop. The hotel Villa Margherita is 10 minutes on foot from there. Take Corso Italia towards Sorrento, turn right into Corso Crawford street, the third road on your right.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
