We LOVED the Prestige. The staff, and I mean everyone, house keeping, breakfast staff, reception staff, courtesy bus drivers - EVERYONE were just so helpful and friendly. It is far from Sorrento but we loved that, nice and relaxing in the hills. There are 3 restaurants close by if you don't want to get the courtesy bus to the town. Anyway, we enjoyed every minute at this fabulous hotel and felt like we were at a 5 star luxury hotel!

Room was very noisy mainly from the main road. Hotel's restaurant (for dinners) was reachable only by shuttle and the quality of food was quite poor.

Hotel Prestige was one of the best hotels we stayed in Italy. All the staff were extremely helpful and accomodating and even helped us book accomodation for other parts of Italy. We stayed in an 'ocean view' double room. The view was superb and the room was spacious. The breakfast was also very good quality and had a good variety of hot and cold choices. The shuttle service to the centre of Sorrento was very useful. The reviews we read for Hotel Prestige were good, and the hotel was even much better again. Thank you!

As stated before the Prestige is about four miles outside Sorrento but gains because of this as it is above the hustle and bustle and well located for the Amalfi coast. The staff were warm and friendly, the breakfast ample and well presented. Good parking for cars and there is a bus stop outside the hotel. Views fantastic. We used the free shuttle service into Sorrento and back and couldn't fault our stay

Hotel Prestige would not be what it is without sweet Angela at the front desk. She was most helpful with all of our questions and needs, her laugh is infectious, and we thoroughly enjoyed speaking with her each day to get local information and recommendations from her. When we first arrived, we were a little hesitant as to the location. However, the hotel offered a very comfortable and convenient shuttle van that we took advantage of. We parked our car for 3 days and took the shuttle to town, to the train and bus station and traveled using local transportation to get to Pompei, Positano, Sorrento, etc. which was much less stressful and far more enjoyable to see the sites. It eliminated searching for and paying exorbitant parking fees, if you could even find a place to park in most towns we visited. The breakfast was an extremely generous buffet, and Rosanne and another young man gave fantastic service with a smile. Apparently, the Italians are not aware, or either don't prefer pillow top mattresses, and we have found all beds to be as hard as a rock. We were uncomfortable, not just at this hotel, but at all of them we visited. I wish they would offer a choice of bedding, that would make our backs, hips and joints very happy. The weather was not particularly great during 2 days of our visit, so we did not get to enjoy the lovely solarium area outside overlooking the Bay of Naples. But one day we did drive to nearby Massa Lubrense to do our laundry when it was raining and visited with fellow travelers at the Bar Orlando, a nice relaxing break from our usual running somewhere every day. Would very highly recommend this hotel as a home base for visiting many local towns and the Amalfi coast.

This is a new hotel built in 2006. Excellent quality construction and furnishings. Warm and competent service, great breakfast, easily the best hotel during our 15 nights in Italy.Nice view of Sorrento from the top of the hill, although it is about 10k from town. Deserves the 4 start billing. Enjoy!

Unsure of the location we only booked for 2 nights but loved it so much we stayed for 5. We enjoyed being away from the hussle and traffic in Sorrento. We had a car. Hotel is in excellent proximity to Sorrento City Center, Amalfi Coast (20 min. to Positano) and many nice places to dine in S. Agata (minutes from hotel by car) Views are unbeatable!! Balcony was huge and great place to cocktail and enjoy the sunset.

Whilst the hotel Prestige is not in Sorrento per se - it is up on the hill above in the hamlet of Colli di Fontanelle - we were SO glad we had chosen it! The views were spectacular - across the Bay of Naples to one side and down part of the Amalfi coast to the other. The hotel has its own car park and there is a regular bus service from right outside the hotel - down the hill for Positano and up for Sorrento - for which tickets and a timetable are available from reception. The hotel itself is beautiful - it looks more like a four-star hotel and the quality and service are outstanding. All the staff are extremely helpful and attentive, nothing is any trouble and they speak excellent English - indeed one of the receptionsists is English! The hotel is maintained to a very high standard - our room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the Bay of Naples. But even if you take a cheaper room with no balcony, there are three separate terrace areas with the same view and numerous sun-loungers to avail yourself of. The bathroom facilities were very nice indeed and the shower the best of our whole trip - great pressure, consistent temperatures. There is Sky TV, built-in radio and a fridge/minibar in the room and WiFi throughout the hotel - according to the information, they will lend you a laptop if you don't have one. There is also a shuttle-bus service available to take you to Sorrento should you require - it goes down three times in the morning and three times in the evening (but you have to book in advance). Breakfast is a lavish buffet with both bot and cold food and plenty of it! This hotel was, quite possibly, the best we stayed at in the course of our one month tour of Italy - we can't recommend it highly enough, both in terms of quality and in terms of excellent value for money.

I travel to Italy and Europe often for work. This is the best value hotel i have stayed in. Definite and deserved in its star rating. I have never stayed in a hotel in Europe that is true to its star rating. This one is great and true . imagine a champange breakfast included for those that like and real coffee for breakfast, this is rare in italian hotels. The reception girl Angela was perfect in all recommendations she gave us. 10 out of 10 for sure. if you plan on traveling around you need a car to stay here, though they have and excellent shuttle service to sorrento town centre. about 10 minute drive away. look forward to staying here again.

The hotel, according the qualification should offer a swimmng pool. We were told about the reasons by which it is not offered (a permission), but urgent steps oursuing a solution should be followed. This is the reason of 8 in quality vs. Price.

As we obtain a room having a vue on the Naples bay, it was ok, but the first room proposed had no vue ( a wall ) in that case, it would be very bad. The swimming pool is a project only.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was terrific value for money. The staff were super helpful, the location quiet and rural, which is what we were looking for, the views were incredible, and we would be happy to recommend the Prestige. The only problem I could see was the car park, which is across the road from the hotel and it could be tricky at times to cross the road. However I can't see any way the hotel can change this given the location. It was only a small thing in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Excellent hotel. Very warm and friendly staff. We didn't want to leave. The only small request: please get warmer blankets, as the night were cold in October this year. Also we wish there was some restaurant really close to hotel, where we could have dinner. At the same time we definately recomment the "Stelluccia" restaurant, which is 5 minutes to drive.

Couldn't get the advertised free internet access to work in the room (but this could have been a configuration problem on my PC). Very nice place though, and you absolutely have to see the views from the balcony (we were in a superior room with a sea view) and the very large terrace.

This is a lovely hotel recently re-furbished. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The service is good, the rooms are all decorted to a high standard and the hotel is extremely clean. It is a least 25 mins out of Sorrento so not for you if you want to be in the centre. We would definately stay here again.

Hotel Prestige was our favorite hotel out of 6 we stayed in throughout Italy. Brand new hotel(so new, you better have good directions because no one knows where it's at). As for finding it on Nastro Azzuro winding road...just keep going up. You will eventually run into...right around a bend so be ready to make a quit right into the parking lot. We had a room w/ a sea view. The balcony was nice but there was no privacy on it. Breakfast was great. Tonino the server is always chipper & willing to get you more fresh squeezed juice. I highly recommend this hotel. They also have a shuttle that will take you into town. It was nice to have someone else drive for us & not have to find parking.

After a disastrous couple of days travelling around the rest of Italy, the Prestige Hotel was an ABSOLUTE pleasure. It was by far the best hotel and there was definitie value for money. The wonderfully friendly receptionist Graziana made our stay, the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast had such wonderful variety and didn't just consist of croissants, ham and cheese. The only small drawback is that the hotel is a little far from the main town so if you arrive in Sorrento, a taxi will cost 50 Euro. The hotel does arrange a bus shuttle into town so try tag onto a return bus to save yourself that cost. There is only one close restaurant within walking distance, but it is a great one so we ate there both nights. Good quality food at reasonable prices and a view to die for! Would definitely recommend this place!

The hotel is brand new, but somewhat far from the center of Sorrento. This fact made it difficult to find the hotel. The vew from the room is stounding. Accomodations, however, are excelent, with all the services that are required from a modern hotel, including free access to Internet from the room. The staff is very gentle. The room is somewhat noisy due to the fact that the hotel is located on road.

This new hotel is beautiful. We had a sea-view room which is definitely worth the extra money. We had a huge, private terrace looking out over the sea. The private terrace also opens up on to a larger terrace with lounge chairs. The patio areas extend all around the property and offer a view of both bays. Beautiful. The property manager told us the place will also get a pool in the future, which will make an amazing addition. There is ample room to spread out, but we were the only ones there so the experience may be different when there are a lot of people around. This hotel had the BEST breakfast we found in Italy. Everything was fresh and artfully presented. The disadvantage is the location. You must drive to this place; the hotel shuttle into Sorrento only runs in the morning and finding it was an exceptional challenge -- even with a GPS. That has to change for this hotel to really excel. One more disadvantage: they leave the balcony lights on all night. Not really a problem for sleeping, but if you're wanting to enjoy a night cap on the balcony the lights are too bright and interfere with enjoying the astonishing view.
