Beautiful surroundings, but directions were incomplete. Secluded setting with lovely pool. Highly suggest 4 hour boat ride in the bay over trip to Capri. View from 3rd floor seaside can't be beat. Some English skills. Great breakfast & good beds. 5 Minute car ride from Sorrento shopping district. Avoid holidays - traffic is impossible.

my family and I have stayed here several times. The staff,food,veiw,hotel,quitness, pool are all excellent.It is a 10 minute walk to downtown Sorrento, comming back it is up a stair walk. we stayed 2 nights wish it was 3 nights.

It was a wonderful hotel and had great surroundings. It is in the middle of olive grove with 3 hammocks, 2 bench swings and many public areas. The food was very good and the staff was extremely helpful. There is a steep walk to and from town, with beautiful views.

How to reach Hotel La Badia

By car
From the highway A3: take the Castellammare di Stabia exit and take the SS145 to Sorrento.

By train
The central station of Naples, Piazza Garibaldi, is well connected with Sorrento thanks to a local train called Circumvesuviana, leaving from the lower level of the station.

By airplane
The Naples International airport of Capodichino is around 50 km from the hotel. From the airport there are different ways to reach Sorrento, the most comfortable and cheapest one is doubtless the Curreri coach service.
