For the price this is a decent hotel with a decent location. 5 mins walk from a jetty for sun bathing and 15-20 min walk from Sorrento town. Our room was clean and quite, towels changed each day. Breakfast is nothing to write home about especially the coffee. The aircon is controlled centrally at reception which was a little annoying as they switched it off a couple of times and turned up the temperature a few times too.

Hotel exactly as described. Decor was getting a bit worn, but very clean and comfortable. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful (even if our Italian was pretty hesitant and their English much the same!), and breakfasts were great. Well-located close to train station and town centre. We visited Pompeii and Herculaneum by train from Sant'Agnello (beware of the pick-pockets!!!!) and saw the Amalfi coast by coach in one direction, and returned by ferry for the best views from both perspectives. Capri was absolutely beautiful despite the crowds. Oh, and Naples wine is the best in Italy :)

How to reach Florida Hotel
By carFrom northern Italy: take the A1 highway towards Naples and then merge onto the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria. After about 30 km/21 miles exit at Castellammare di Stabia and follow the signs for Penisola Sorrentina and the SS145 road until you get to Sant'Agnello. From there go towards the main square and afterwards turn right in Via Crawford road, then left in Via Cocumella and continue along until you arrive at Vico I Rota.
From southern Italy: take the A3 highway and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signs for Penisola Sorrentina until you get to Sant'Agnello. From there go towards the main square and afterwards turn right in Via Crawford road, then left in Via Cocumella and continue along until you arrive at Vico I Rota.
By train
From the Centrale train station in Naples take the circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento and get off at Sant'Agnello train station.
