Although the date of its foundation is unknown, Sorrento was doubtless a strategic and commercial centre already at the time of Greeks and Etruscans. Today, Sorrento is a worldwide known tourist destination also thanks to its ancient traditions, including wine & food products and crafts.

The hotel is located in the heart of Sorrento and is close to everything we needed. It is on the main steet and near the main town square. We took the train in from Naples (Not a great choice) but the train station is within walking distance. The room was adequate, the front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. The only real negative was the breakfast service and choice of foods. The coffee offered was really terrible. Considering that you are in Italy, the coffee is normally great, this tasted like bad instant. We ate some of our breakfasts at the English Pub down the street to the right as you come out of the hotel.

Nice place, the hotel is perfectly situated, in the hearth of the center. Our room was not as pretty as on the pictures (no balcony), but the reception is very nice.

By car
Via motorway A3, exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Then take the SS 145 state road and exit at Sorrento. Reach the centre of Sorrento, following the indications for via degli Aranci, Piazza Tasso and then take Corso Italia.

By train
From the Naples train station, take the Circumvesuviana local train. Get off at the Sorrento stop. Reach Piazza Tasso square, then follow the indications for Corso Italia.

By airplane
From the Naples Capodichino airport take the Curreri shuttle service, direction Sorrento-Penisola Sorrentina and get off at the Sorrento-Piazza Tasso stop. Then follow the indications for Corso Italia.
