Very nice location! Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms are a nice size and fairly clean, but a bit outdated in terms of linens and towels cleanliness for the hotels class rating. If they bought new plush towels, and comforters the rooms would be on par for guests. Shopping is very close and there are some very nice sites to see!

The hotel is situated beautifully above the water - breathtaking views. The day staff is very competent and helpful. The night staff is not as friendly. The hotel would be perfect if the local bus service was reliable. The hotel is away from the action of restaurants, bars, etc. so unless you have a car you have to rely on unreliable public transportation. It made getting around very frustrating.

Fantastic view from the roof-terass of the hotel and a very nice place to take a drink at sunset The hotel has no pool. It´s possible to get down to the water nearby but it costs 5 Euro just to enter the beach! Corallo is situated ca 25 min walk from Sorrento. There are nice places to eat in St Agnello (beside the hotels own restaurant) for ex Capanno, Moonlight and La Terazza

The hotel is not difficult to find. Nice room and surrounding area but it's not that nice comparing with the room price. Breakfast was terrible, other B&B we stayed was a lot better! This hotel was the most expensive among 8 different hotels in different towns I stayed but the breakfast was the worst. The most surprising thing was when we were back from terrible breakfast, there were 2 hotel staff in our room even though we had not checked out yet!!!. They seemed a bit shocked too when they saw us and just quickly said "oh we came to check mini-bar and hurry got out from the room. One of those staff was the one who served us coffee in breakfast room. Please prepare to pay 10 Euro for parking too.

We had a triple room overlooking the sea and it provided a wonderful ending to our 2 week Italy stay. The most positive things were the view and the very pleasant and helpful receptionist. The negative was that the hotel caters to weddings of which there were two during our 2 night stay. The first was quite noisy but the second had lovely music and fireworks. This however was going to prevent us from using the dining facilities but since this 'splurge' was a birthday celebration the hotel did arrange for us to eat in the dining room where we were the only guests.

The hotel was beautiful and so were the surroundings. However, it turned out to be the wedding capital of Sorrento. We stayed 4 nights and the hotel had 3 weddings booked. We paid for a seaview and the weddings were on a large terrace just below our balcony. We couldn't sit out because of the noise and the third night had a band and the music could be heard everywhere.

The hotel is in general very good. We just got the smallest room, probably because of our "low" rate with only 139€ per night. Location was great with beautyfull ocean view from the Terrace.

The public areas are wonderful. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they are clean. We had superior ocean view rooms with balcony. Definitely work the price. WONDERFUL time sitting outside and enjoying the view. BEAUTIFUL. There are lots of weddings here. Each night there was a wedding. One night they set off fireworks right by our room around 12:00 at night. That was not cool bring ear plugs! but the view is phenomenal. It is far from the city square. We didn't go there for that however so it wasn't a problem. Cost about 11 euros to take a taxi one way into the city square.

Located on a cliff overlooking the sea, Hotel Corallo offers beautiful views of the bay and is less than a mile from Piazzo Tasso, the main square in Sorrento. The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complain is the noise level, which was piercing at 7 AM when tour groups were getting up to get on with their day. Each morning of our four day stay we were abruptly awakened by loud voices and luggage being dragged through the hallway.

This hotel was beautiful not only the view, but also the building itself, would be an ideal place for a wedding and reception..a little off the beaten path but there is a local bus to Sorrento or just take a 15 min. walk...

We would very much like to return to this hotel and spend a week or two. The staff went out of their way to help us connect with the cruise we were joining. We arrived late in the evening and they recommended what turned out to be our favorite restaurant on our trip. If it were possible to give this property a rating higher than 10, we would certainly do it. Fabulous!

This property was lovely, hey, it's sorrento. We had a difficult time finding it from the directions. they should clarify either where to walk from the train station or encourage people to take a taxi. the room was small considering the pictures and room description, but the location and view were priceless. breakfast was okay, but the service was great, we were also about 15-20 minutes from pompeii

We spent five days here in September. The Hotel was chosen purely on Venere's recommendation and we were not disappointed. Although heavily used by tour groups we were given an individual welcome and service by the staff who could not have been more attentive. Try to get Room 456 which has a huge Balcony with a stupendous view. The Restaurant is good, but pricey, but there is a little pizzeria next door that serves good reasonable food. The cocktail bar in the Hotel serves the best cocktails we've drunk in Italy. Perfect for watching the sunset. Reception will sell you bus tickets for the little bus which stops outside the Hotel and travels a circular route around Sorrento and down to the Port where you can buy ferry tickets for Naples, Capri or Amalfi. They will also drop you at the Circumvesuviana station for Pompeii and Naples. This is a really excellent hotel that couldn't be faulted.

The Corallo was the best, yet cheapest hotel of the 4 we stayed in, in Italy. The views from 3 terraces on this cliffside gem where you could sit or dine were spectacular and many rooms had private terraces as well. Public areas were elegant but the rooms seemed caught in 'the Seventies'. Staff were great especially Annamaria, the concierge, and 'Pepe', the noted barman. Both were most welcoming and helpful - what a fantastic pair for a hotel to have. Once, when wondering where to go for supper, they suggested the "Donna Sophia" in the hills above Sorrento. We were picked up and returned without charge. The meal was superb and the prices reasonable. Too bad some tour participants rated this hotel less enthusiastically in the past, but they paid a fraction of what they should have for such an opportunity. We will certainly return again.

We stayed in a triple room for 4 nights the room was clean but was situated next to the busy terrace resturant and the hotel generator off the balcony. Once we got a handle of the air conditioning we started to enjoying ourselves. The hedges along the balcony obscured your view of the sea but was perfect for looking at the horrizon view. The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff very friendly. Twas quite a walk into Sorrento centre, but the bus stop was just outside. the tickets are purchased at the hotel reception.

Location was fantastic and inspiring. I can understand now why so many novels, love stories and adventures are a direct result from stays in Sorrento. They Hotel was on a fantastic cliff side with un hindered views that is priceless with quite surroundings out of the hussel and bussel of tourists centre. Staff were friendly. The only down fall fall was the beach. Web site specifies private beach leading to idea of private beach for hotel users but it is actually open to the public and get quite busy in the afternoons.

Spectacular view was the number one reason this was our favorite hotel. Traveling with my mother and daughter, we had a wonderful time at the Corallo. The breakfast was the best. Watch for fishermen with nets early in the morning.
