The Britania looked better on the Photos than it did in real life, the 300 meter walk to town centre was infact a 3/4 mile walk up a mountain with only a sidewalk half the way the rest of the way was single file right in to the side of the road watching for Italian idiots coming rounds every corner..... the rooms are fine you get what you pay for simple as that, personaly i would rather pay little bit more next time to get a desent hotel and room... the welcome was fine but asking for passport and car keys on arrival to put behind the desk no more than an arm reach away from anyone who wanted it... We were at the desk for a good few minutes before i rang the bell to get the guy through to serve us. The breakfast was not continental it was cheap corn flakes with orange juice, break butter jam. not even a toaster to have toast. Personaly i would not go back. All in all if you want a holiday away from the town centre with a window that looks onto fencing from the farm behind around 2 meters away with a very basic room with a fan as your air condition then go for it.

We had a room facing the the road and it was like sleeping next to the autostrada. As well, the drunken english speaking tourists wandering up and down the road at 3 am did not help but this was not the hotels fault. Possibly better with a room facing the mountain? There was no AC - fine it was not listed but the fan had a timer. After 120 min, the fan stopped and the room became stuffy. Open windows increased the traffic noise... So it was get up frequently to turn the fan on or open the windows for a sea breeze and not sleep at all.

Very good hotel overall, a bit pricy compared to other hotels we've stayed in Italy but I guess everything is pricier in Sorrento. The view from our room was fantastic. The hotel is a liitle difficult to get to from downtown, you have to take the bus. The distance from city center is not big but there are no sidewalks so the walk ends up being an adventure

Everything was fine with one exception concerning the surroundings. To reach the hotel on foot is dangerous because there is no sidewalk on the last 150 metres.

I would not recommend this hotel. It doesn't have Air conditioning!! We were there in July and the weather was very hot. We tried having the windows open at night but we couldn't sleep as the hotel is located on a very busy road and we could hear cars and motorcycles all night. The breakfast at the hotel was very poor. They served left over bread with butter and jam followed by disgusting coffee. I would recommend sorrento but not this hotel.

Nice Hotel but quite average for the price(115 euro per night), breakfast was poor (common in Italy)only bread and coffee. The hotel is on the road and a short bus ride away from Sorrento. It is close to a nice little beach but i would choose another hotel in future.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the chef. Very clean and comfortable but no air conditionong and no shower (Shower attachment to bath taps). The noise level from the road outside is very LOUD and the hotel needs access to a pool as the beach (Shared with another hotel is very disappointing) Good place to stay for a couple of nights at most!

Clean and adequate. Breakfast a disappointment. Towels a surprise, but linen works well actually! Could be noisy if school parties present as arrived on our last day.

Nice quiet area of Sorrento with the hotel giving you the feeling of it being run by a family. Very relaxing. Close to all amenties.
