Les Fleurs Boutique Hotel - Sofia

Stayed for 4 nights at Les Fleurs after reading reviews on various siites. Boutique hotel with huge attention to detail and some lovely touches. Hotel is on the main shopping street right in the middle of Sofia, so is a superb location for all the sights. The street is pedestrianised apart from trams so the hotel was quiet (although we were on the 6th floor). Staff all spoke english and were friendly. Although you can certainly stay in cheeper hotels in Sofia, we're so pleased we stayed here.

Location was great (we had difficulty with road signs in cyrillic alphabet) Room excellent although we did not like circular shower linking bedroom and bathroom (we prefer privacy when showering or on the loo!) Food in the restaurant was indifferent - not a lot of choice (nobody else there at the time)

This is a true boutique hotel, with artfully decorated rooms, somptuous bathrooms and a very warm welcome (in perfect English). It is set in the very centre of Sofia, so all points of interest are conveniently situated within walking distance. Furthermore, since it is situated on a pedestrian street, the room is very quiet and one hears only the faintest rumbling of passing trams. And even though we arrived rather early in the morning (having come by the night train), the helpful staff was able to provide us with a room after only some minutes of waiting, during which they offered us tea and coffee. Warning: the steps leading to the breakfast room are impossibly steep, better use the elevator... :-)

Great hotel with unusual flair in an excellent location. Lots of thought went into the design of Les Fleurs. Fantastic breakfast and service!
