Holiday Village Diplomat is a newly built hotel in Sofia, situated at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the Gorna Bania quarter, famous for its mineral springs. The hotel is located within the wide area of the Diplomatic Club Gloria Palace, about 10 km away from the city centre.
The property features ten semi-detached houses, spread out over two floors and designed with high quality fittings and totally gas supplied, as well as standard rooms and suites.
Additional facilities of the hotel include conference and meeting rooms, seating up to 80 persons, restaurant, tennis courts, fitness room, sauna, massages, outdoor swimming pool and Caribbean bar.

The apartment was great. The service was lacking and the restuarant was very expensive. We stayed on the night of a wedding and so could only have a segment of the menu. Surroundings very noisy

We only had one night which was a shame as we would have liked longer as this was a fantastic place to stay. We were upgraded free of charge and had the most amazing apartment, my only complaint was that there were not enough pillows (as we like 2 each)and the douvets were a bit on the small side. Apart from this everything was excellent and would definately stay there again. the resturant was alos very good and not too expensive with great personal service

ACHTUNG! In diesem Hotel finden oft Hochzeiten statt, bei denen die ganze Nacht durchgefeiert wird. Durch den Lärm ist ruhiges Schlafen nicht möglich. Der Service im Restauant läßt für nicht Hochzeits-Gäste zu wünschen übrig. Ich kann dieses Hotel keinesfalls weiter empfehlen.

We stayed here in transit and it was a very good choice in our route to Greece. We stayed in an apartment, very large, modern and confortable. Breakfast was very good,varied and more that enough. It was a nice garden , where you could serve dinner- in the grass, near trees and you could see the squarells playing there. It's a very nice and relaxing place.

By car
Follow the E80 from Dragoman to Sofia, reach Blvd. Europe and turn right following the ring road of Sofia in direction Pernik. After about 10 km continue in direction Gorna Banya. Take the right direction from the ring road and after 100 meters on the left side you will find the main entrance of the Diplomatic Club Gloria Palace and the Holiday Village Diplomat.
